Q: can i connect a monitor to the camera instead of the phone or connect both monitor and phone?

Hi, for now, our wifi wireless backup camera only works with a phone or tablet. We are working on a monitor which is compatible with our WIFI backup cameras, should be available soon. Thank you

It is wireless as far as transmitting the image to your phone. However, the camera has to be connected to your car's wiring.

Yes, this camera can concect it to 12V battery, but we don't suggest. It is generally recommended to connect the reverse light power supply. Thank you.
