Backlight failed
Seems that I am the unlucky one that scored a bad item.The good : shipped quickly, very well packaged and well protected for long distance shipping. Arrived in great shape from a visual standpoint.The bad : The item had a backlight failure upon install. It worked properly for maybe 10 minutes then backlight flickered and then total failure. Triple checked for poor connection, connector cable etc.The original cracked screen still lit up properly .Only made a review when I ordered another screen which worked properly. Needed to be sure it was not the laptop.In fairness, it would have been hard for the seller to discover this issue before shipping out. hence the 3 stars despite a non working product.
