Balneum Dry Skin and Itch Relief Cream, 200 ml

Ok so I never write reviews but I just had to for this cream!! I’ve suffered with eczema since I was a baby and have had to rely on a variety of prescribed creams including diprobase, strong steroid creams and more. I’m in my 20s and have been trying really hard to move away from steroid cream because I don’t want my skin to rely on them anymore. I also have used diprobase and hate how greasy it is + it does nothing to actually soothe my eczema when it flares up.So, I decided to take a chance on this cream and if is AMAZING. Honestly - i’m in shock because I’ve never been able to use a cream before that has soothed AND gotten rid of my eczema without it having some kind of steroid in it .It’s not a miracle cream and won’t get rid of eczema overnight, but in my personal experience I couldn’t be without this cream now. My eczema is manageable and I can wear dresses/more revealing clothing without feeling self conscious of my eczema! I could cry!!!I also love to exercise and I’m able to workout without being in pain or freaking out about my eczema flaring up from sweating which I’m absolutely over the moon about.It’s also anti-itch which is incredible and has stopped me from scratching both in the day and while I’m sleeping.All in all, if you’re suffering from eczema then I 1000% recommend this cream. It’s not greasy, doesn’t leave a thick coating on my skin and helps to stop itching. It’s definitely worth a try! Take it from me - this cream is the sh*t!!!!!!!!

Amazing, excellent. Not only reduce the itch of my skin, but take me free from pain. I had cellulitis for long time. The drip of Inv of antibiotic dug stop, the pain of cellulitis still exist. Last more than a month. I agree with GP that I still have cellulitis, but GP disagree, and no antibiotic medicine give. During last night the itch over my low part of leg was so much + pain. I tried Balneum, itch and pain reduced to zero. Morning, I did again, seems no pain, no itch.

Im not one for getting eczema, but i had a horrible very itchy patch in the center of my forehead. I had to use my dads steroid cream which did the trick. But i wanted to find something which didnt contain steroids. This cream is fantastic. It stopped the itch, it is almost completely scentless. It completely got rid of the patch of dry itchy skin and even sorted out my contact dermatitis above my eyebrow. The only downside ive noticed is that after a week or so of using it ive started to break out with spots. Ive never had acne, and i hardly ever get spots. This is the worst ive had spots in my adult life (it isnt that bad, but there are 10-15 little spots on my forehead most of them being the type that are bumps under the skin) im attributing it to my skin reacting to the cream as theyve shown where i have only applied the cream. Id still use this product and buy this brand. Id rather deal with spots than have eczema and contact dermatitis. Well worth a try, but if you use it on your face, wash it thoroughly before you apply it.

Tried this for unbearable menopausal itching. Itching was unbearable especially at night and I was damaging my skin with the scratching. This cream is amazing. No more itching and I can’t quite believe it! First few nights I needed to apply a second time but now I’m just applying before bed and after showering in the morning. Non sticky and makes skin feel lovely and soft.

Much more easily absorbed than other creams I have tried (it doesn't turn white as you rub it in) and yet still as effective on really dry skin. Doesn't smell medicinal as most creams do, just a slight smell as you put it on but dissipates much quicker than other creams. Would like the spout to be a bit more pointed but all the makes appear to be the same design.

Well suffering from eczema I was always looking for products that would relieve the itch and even more moisturise the skin, well Balneum seems to work well and I’m on my second bottle, aveeno works too but Balneum seems to have the edge and goes on somewhat thicker, not perfect but with eczema it’s horses for courses and sometimes something works and at others it doesn’t..... but for now this is helping me and my itchy arms and legs and I’m ordering a third!

Somehow, cause of my pregnancy or I made some reaction, but my hands became really really dry, itchy, horrible. I used to wake up at night from the itchiness. Together with the dryness my hands became cracked, felt like rash. This cream helped me a lot. At first it was stingy and it felt bit burning. But when cracks healed it is comfortable to put on. Still dry my hands are, but no itchiness and rash. Feel really relieved. Hopefully with time skin will get back to normal.
