You use with the addition of laundry detergent. Puracy makes a good one as well. This is a fabulous "stain remover" not a detergent.

Will this remove deodorant and yellow armpit stains on a white 100% cotton shirt?

It is the best stain remover I have found. I use for armpit and collar stains but it depends on how had they are. I use on new shirts and avoid stains longer and to lessen or remove stains already and here but it's effectiveness depends on how bad the existing stains are.

Is there any recourse for the literal $300+ worth of clothing this product has destroyed of ours????
