While the berries themselves are good quality, the dried fruit seems to have sand/dirt caught in the crevices. This is not cool at all and suggests a process quality issue that can be remedied by more careful dehydration. I have now decided to rinse the berries and dry them before sucking on them. Undeniably, gooseberries/amla have tremendous health and nourishment value but seller must look into this.

dried amla has many uses and will never fail you . my wife used these to add in the hair mask- amla is best if you are dealing with gray hair problem.she had her hair colored purple and after that some grey hair showed up !!! instead of getting worried , she started searching for amla and in two months her hair is back to normal.these are genuine dried amla - though the quantity is low for the price but i ordered coz they are not readily available everywhere.

There is nothing that I do not like about these dried berries. I pour hot water over them and a few minutes later they swell up and the flavor comes out. They are a tad bit on the salty side so I recommend not putting too many in your cup.I do believe being that this is an awesome antioxidant I have not had an woman's cycle in 4-5 months due to my IUD. I've been drinking these dried berries at least twice a day for a week and ..walaa my cycle is back in swing a full cleaning, not what I expected but can say that I needed it.This is a berry I will keep in my cabinet.

After doing research for natural ways of helping eliminate a chronic feminine issue, I read that gooseberries are good for both discharge and odor. Gooseberries are not easy to come by out-of-season. I ordered these dried gooseberries but they are very hard to eat. I use a small handful of them daily brewed into a tea. It has helped tremendously. :-)

I'm not sure exactly how this is supposed to be used, but all I can say is that it has the worst taste ever.I made some infused water and it has a terrible taste. I need to figure out what else can be done with this. All this healthiness is going to kill me. GROSS!

Very happy with this product. I purchased to create a DIY Amla oil and was pleased with the results. The gooseberries plump up when heated in oil, I used coconut oil, allowing me to cut them open and the berries to fully infuse the oil. I got the green tinged coloring I was looking for. Will purchase again.

Super sour and then a little bit sweet at the end. I recommend you soak these for an hour or two before eating because they are extremely hard.

Worst quality I ever had. if you are ordering this, You will regret, I am eating Dried Amla since I am a kid. Never order this. This product should not be on amazon, If amazon is trying to have good products only, then amazon needs to tell seller to remove this lisitng. I suggest do not order this, you will regret ordering this.
