Terrible quality. We’ve had ours for 7 months and it already quit working. A couple of months into owning it, it failed to shut off when the timer ran out, causing our sauna to get dangerously hot, melting our thermostat and cracking the glass in the sauna door. Avoid this piece of junk, buy something else.

I've owned and operated this heater for only a month, so I'm unable to comment on its durability. However, 1) it was easy to install, 2) the wiring (220) task was not a problem, and 3) it heats up VERY fast -- far faster than the two sauna heaters I've had in the past. One drawback: the compartment (space) for the heater rocks is small; consequently, it provides insufficient steam (if that is important to you.

Built a sauna for our fire station and decided to buy this heater because I was paying for it out of pocket. This heater was a great choice, not only was it under $150 but it has worked better than I could have ever expected. Our sauna is 6x6x7 and at ¾ on the temperature adjuster the sauna stays at 170 degrees. We have learned that having the temp maxed out is way too much for any of us and starts to tingle the tips of your ears pretty quickly. I also added a small fan and humidifier to the room which helps make your skin feel better and adds to the life expectancy of the coils. Amazing product, I will definitely be buying one for my home as well.

I assigned this came WItH the rocks now I have to pay an extra $90 to actually see if it works. That's is not what I expected.

Bang for your buck! Its about 1/3 the cost of most other sauna heaters. Gets my 3 person sauna up to 180F in about 25 minutes. I've gotten it to almost 200F! NOTE: Wire it with ground on terminal one (the far left) and black on terminal 3 and red on terminal 6. At first I put red on terminal 5 and it would not get hot. Changed it to 6 and it was cooking in minutes.
