Genesis MegaDrive 196-in-1 Game Cartridge Include Contra Gunstar Heroes for USA, European Console

Works with my MiniGen system. Oddly enough it only worked with my authentic Genesis controller.

A little more work choosing a title, and doesn't go to the game menu restart when you push reset but instead restarts the game you loaded. To choose another game the actual power button has to be used to restart. The game selection is vast and has many rare games. Works perfectly on Sega Genesis version 2.

Some games won't play or require ROM patches due to onboard ROM space constraints, loading games is a bit slow, there's no Sega CD RAM backup functionality, and the build quality is somewhat dubious- but hey! It plays most Genesis games and homebrew, and even plays 32X games if you have a 32X handy, and saving games seemed to work fine for me as long as you remember to reset the console before powering off, despite the included instructions claiming otherwise.

This cartridge is great and games that have a save feature will save with this cart just have to turn the sd card save back up on in the settings and hit the reset button after you save in game before powering the genesis off if you follow these steps it copys the save to the sd card and the data is not lost works great

First five games I tried didn't work or froze. Wasted my money, because its way over priced.

I haven’t tried all the games out but most seem to work good. I will warn that I would buy a decent SD card and copy the image over to that because as is, the card included is a super cheap off brand that is really slow, so just to be safe I would make a copy in case of failure. I am not sure if it is the cart itself that loads the games so slowly or if it’s just included SD card’s read speeds but out of the box it takes about 3-5 minutes to load a game.
