Does it come in 15mg dose?

There are three possible options for you in response to your question.  Your question is, "Does the flaxseed lignans come in a 15 mg capsule?"  1.  You can separate the capsules in half and put a piece of cheese or peanut butter in each end and then you will have two 16 mg capsules.  2.  We offer bulk flax lignan powder on Amazon which has a 10 mg scoop inside.  You can then measure out exactly how much you want. 3.  Flaxseed is a natural food and giving your dog more than 15 mg is more beneficial.  Your vet just wants you to get a minimum of 15 mg.  I assume that you have a dog that weighs approximately 15 lbs.  We give our 18 lb Bichon a 33 mg capsule everyday just for general health.  She does not have Cushings.

Have the cyanogenic glycosides (cyanide) been removed at all -- or completely -- from this product?

Cyanide is found in a whole range of plants that we eat every day (lima beans, almonds, peaches, apples, cassava, among many others).  So, the issue isn’t about avoiding cyanide but rather whether the cyanide levels in the particular plant are safe.  In flax, the levels are minuscule.  In approving flaxseeds as Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS), which is the gold standard for food safety, the FDA reviewed several toxicity aspects, including for cyanide.  The FDA-approved GRAS notice (GRN 280) noted that over 12,000 edible plant species contain some levels of cyanide and went on to conclude that “The average concentration of cyanide in flaxseed, 0.09 ppm [parts per million], is well within the range commonly found in plants used as human food.”  The notice also referred to a previous study in which an FDA “Committee concluded that a level of up to 10 ppm hydrogen cyanide in the Codex Standard for cassava flour is not associated with acute toxicity. This level is more than 100 times that found in flaxseeds.”  See GRN 280 at 132-133

Each bottle has 90 caps?  so the 2 bottles have 180?  please reply asap as i need to place the order today.  i can't read the label!
