Does well for what it's used for, easy to put together, adjusts well & very sturdy if setup right.

Good Boom arm, got it for a good price and I am happy with it, hold my microphone high, low or wherever I need it to be.

I can see this working for some desks and mic combos, but not any of mine. The clamp is too small and doesn't fit my desk. The clamp opens up to slightly over 1 inch which doesn't fit my desk. Range of motion and ease of adjusting it gets a 3/10. I used my work desk (not where this will be used, but I wanted to give it a good solid review) to mount and test it. Moving it around it is very, very difficult to get it into a position that is usable for a studio mic. If you have to move it out of the way to stand up, plan on a good 30 seconds to a minute of fiddling with it to get the mic back into the position for a good pickup. I did notice a drift over time that concerned me if I planned on using this. Even with the wing nuts tightened down aggressively (to the point I was worried anymore would break it) it would drift, and my mic is not that heavy, significantly lighter than what the specs say this can handle by several pounds. All in all, I got it on sale so I'll keep it in case I can use it, but I would invest in a little higher quality one for sure.

For the price it works well. Certainly not the most sturdy arm however it doesn't wobble too much. The extra attachments ensure it works with multiple types of mics.

I recently purchased the InnoGear Microphone Stand Mic Boom Arm to complement my Blue Yeti USB microphone setup, and while there are some impressive features, there are a few drawbacks worth considering. Let's start with the positives. The dual-layer pop filter that comes with the stand is a standout feature. Not only does it feel high quality, but it effectively reduces plosive sounds and enhances overall audio quality. Adjusting the filter and maintaining its position on the arm is a breeze, contributing to a seamless recording experience. The stand's ability to easily adjust and hold its position is another commendable feature. It provides flexibility during use, allowing for quick and effortless adjustments to suit various recording setups. However, the stand's design has its share of issues. The C-clamp, while convenient, has a slick bottom foot that compromises its grip on the desk. This lack of stability can lead to the stand sliding around and popping loose, making it essential to tighten the clamp securely and handle it with care. One significant drawback is the loose fit between the peg at the base of the boom arm and the clamp. This results in noticeable wobbling, creating a less stable setup than desired. The screw intended to secure this connection falls short in providing the necessary stability, leaving the arm prone to movement. Moreover, the screw that connects the microphone to the arm lacks the desired friction. Even a slight rotation can cause the microphone to come loose, allowing it to rotate freely without resistance. This can be frustrating, especially during intense recording sessions where stability is crucial. In conclusion, the InnoGear Microphone Stand Mic Boom Arm offers a mix of positive and negative attributes. While the dual-layer pop filter and easy adjustments enhance the user experience, issues with the C-clamp's grip and the loose connections affecting stability may be significant considerations. If careful handling and occasional readjustments are acceptable trade-offs for the low cost, this stand might still be a suitable option for your setup.
