We got this so we were not using an electric mixer in a plastic mixing bowl. Very sturdy and well made. Perfect size. A bit on the heavy side when lifting it to spatula out the contents into a pan as compared to the plastic bowl it replaced, but obviously that’s to be expected. Probably not an issue for most.

Good quality, clear glass

This is the perfect bowl when you are making sourdough bread. The size is just what you need and the quality is great. The bowl is thick so it won’t break easily. I’m really happy that I bought this bow. It is amazing!

As I am trying to rid my kitchen of plastic, I purchased this bowl mostly to use for salads. The bowl came very well packaged and meets my needs perfectly. The bowl is made from a nice quality thick glass and the size is just right. Of course, the bowl is heavier than my old plastic salad bowl, but that is a trade-off in getting rid of plastic. I don't really care about the included lid, which seems to be fine.
