Update 7/10/25 - Since my last review, I have used it at least 5 days a week. Recently, due to learning that whole milk has a lot of saturated fat (not good for those who have high cholesterol, high LDL in their blood), I have switched to 2% milk and that still froths up beautifully. This device also has a soy milk setting. Soy milk is a healthy milk alternative due to its similar protein content yet being low in sugar and saturated fat. Another thing that occurred to me is that the two spinner things (the propeller and the disc) both have plastic parts. They are submerged so there is that ick factor that plastic and high heat is happening if you choose the hot setting. Also noticed that the pitcher itself also has a plastic part in the middle inside and this is not removable, it's part of the pitcher. It's the little plastic part where the propeller or disc spinner attach to. Maybe they can make these parts all metal? Update 3/26/25 - I measured the amount of whole milk on a scale when poured to the minimum line inside the pitcher: 179 grams give or take of whole milk. I have no idea of that is a lot or a little. Like I said in previous updates to this review, I go through whole milk a lot faster but I still use this device every single day, sometimes twice a day. Update 3/14/25 - There are two spinner thingies that go into the center of the pitcher: one for Froth Mode (on the left side of the touchscreen) and one for the Stir Mode (on the right of the touchscreen). I actually haven't used the Stir Mode spinner disk and Stir Mode to make any drinks yet. I have only used Froth Mode because I just use whole milke, latte setting. Anyway, the top big propeller part of the spinning thing for Froth Mode came out once while I was cleaning it. I was able to pop it back in vertically. But it's slightly wobbly now if you move it around slightly. I don't remember if the wobble was already there from the beginning. This hasn't affected the froth results though (same froth as before) and the propeller part hasn't fallen out on its own since. Also, tip: Pour the frothed milk into your drink right away for best results. I think if you let it sit, it separates more, so you can swirl it around in the pitcher before you pour it in. Also, I usually fill the pitcher to the minimum line and I do pour all the frothed milk into my one cup (previously, I said I split it into two cups because the minimum quantity line in the pitcher feels like a lot of milk) because I'm the only one making a cup of coffee/tea in the morning. Basically, I'm saying it seems like a lot of milk but it seems fine in the end taste-wise. Update 3/6/25 - I wanted to add to my review that another nitpick thing I've found is the amount of milk that is required for the minimum line. I used to just pour in a little whole milk to my coffee (cold, I know, *shudder*). Anyway, the minimum line, which doesn't even include the area where you need to pour for latte art, is in my opinion a lot of milk. I usually pour half of the frothed milk to another cup of coffee for someone else and pour half for myself. You may think that the amount of frothed and heated milk from the minimum or latte art area (just above the minimum line) is good for one cup of coffee. Bottom line, I run out of whole milk a lot faster now using the minimum line for the whole milk, latte setting. Update 2/28/25 - So I have owned this product for over a week now. I have used it EVERY SINGLE DAY. I still haven't figured out how to pour the foam (whole milk, latte setting) to make actual latte art. I don't know if it's actually possible to make very nice latte art from this machine, but I am not a professional barista by any means. Secondly, you do have to use a sponge to clean the bottom of the pitcher after whole milk at least because a milky residue remains even after swirling water inside the pitcher to "clean" it. Original review - This machine is amazing. It actually works. The foam is micro enough that it mimics what you buy at the fancy coffee shops or big box coffee shops. I’m obsessed. Also does foam almond milk, there is an almond milk setting. I love that you just pour the milk in and touchscreen what you want In 3 ish minutes you have foam to top off your coffee or tea. I love that it heats the milk up too and foams it. This is way better than a hand electric whisk because it’s set it and forget it. If this breaks, I’m getting another one. One of those kitchen gadgets I actually use everyday in addition to my electric kettle. Now I’m spoiled and expect foam with all my matchas and coffees ha!

Initial review: For context- I’m a barista but don’t have space for an entire espresso machine at home. Since I prefer a marshmallow-y milk foam in my plain coffee and tea instead of espresso shots, I chose this! I’m also quite stoked to use it for hot cocoa and apple cider this fall! I used to have a milk frother but wanted something that could heat the milk for me so that it gave more consistent results. I am very impressed. It consistently heats the milk to a good temperature, is relatively quiet (aside from the beeping to let you know it’s done), and only takes a few minutes. There are markings on the inside for where to fill for certain ratios. There are 2 tips/frothers that attach to a magnetic base at the bottom. The instruction booklet they send is also quite resourceful! Overall, this is VERY user friendly and great for beginners or people who want cafe quality milk without the learning curve of steaming it. Edit: I had issues with this actually frothing milk and gave it 4 stars. This is the funniest case of user error and I feel silly typing this. I updated to 5 stars because I was looking at reviews and realized my regular frothing tip looked "off". That meant my switching milks, temperatures, stir speeds, and fill lines was all pointless. Basically, the whisk had been going in circles around the magnetic base of the tip instead of being fixed on the plastic "holders". The holders have a slight groove in them that keeps the whisk in place. Mine arrived with the whisk out of place. I don't know how many times I looked at the pictures in the manual, then back at mine and completely brushed over this detail. Its basically like when I was learning to steam milk and would put the wand tip too high/low and couldn't get a consistent vortex. Now that its in the right place, the milk froths SO well :) This is a grand slam. I've sent photos to my barista friends bragging about my find. When we train baristas on milk we describe the desired texture as “wet paint”. This produces the thick foam that can stick to the sides of the pitcher after being swirled, but is also fluid enough for perfect latte art. You can create extra hot drinks with this, but standard for steaming is 140-150. I think the machine goes to 170. Cleanup is simple! You can take out the frothing tool and clean it by hand, or be lazy like me and rinse the inside, then run a cycle with some soapy water and rinse afterwards. (You will have to clean the very bottom of the frother/propeller separately since it can build up gunk around the magnetic part. You can remove the whisk attachment to scrub or soak separately if needed.)
