The kamonk ir blaster is great but need to do somethings to use it at its full useI am seeing that people are saying that it only turn on and off using alexa app and not other functions but it is wrong. It can do everything through alexa.First go to the kamonk app and create each scene for each button for the remote next go to alexa app and create routine and put the command for each button and go to smart homes then scene then add the scene according to your command and then save.Now whenever you say for example alexa,select the selected scene will work according to command and will do select command. You can look for tutorial on YouTube for creating scenes and routines.Or look at reddit or ask chat gpt.

The product looks very good, it can be kept anywhere in room, facing any direction and controls all remote controlled devices in that room.Setting up is very easy (i watched the video uploaded on Amazon, great video but realised after even without it I could have installed easily)Works well with AC (I use Daikin), Samsung TV and TATASKY Set-top box. Alexa is good to have, simply ask Alexa to turn on ac and change temperature when feeling cold.I’m using with other Kamonk Smart Devices and they can all be linked. I have put as when AC turns on my smart bulbs turns on !Schedule feature is great, comes with Geofencing, app interface is amazing and best I’ve used so far!I recommend !

Sent a used product with lots of scratches. Second thing it did not work at all with my Godrej AC. IMPORTANT they did not have return refund policy only replacement policy is there.

I have used it to control the TV, Set top box, audio system and AC , all working fine with Alexa.

This is just an IR transmitter for a received command over wifi.Pros:1. Learning feature. Learns already existing remote IR codes easily.2. IR range is good.Cons:1. Has very weak wifi receiver means very small wifi range.2. Kamonk remote skill for Alexa voice command does only ON/OFF function. No other functions (like our remote) works for DTH and Smart TV.3. Everytime you need your smart phone to control DTH/TV(no voice commands )4. DIY remote on the app is not having new button addition facility.5. Very very poor in voice commands.6.App size is very big for a very small function(55MB).

Recently I bought Alexa and was looking for a universal remote to use other IR enabled electrical appliances. Went ahead and purchased Kamonk remote primarily looking at the rating which I normally do and have not gone wrong till date. I am glad I didn't go wrong this time either as it does what its supposed to do i.e. operate device using Alexa and that too, seamlessly. Setting up was very easy using the video tutorial and brochure that is provided with the product. Just be mindful that it works only on appliance which can be controlled via IR and does not support bluetooth based remotes like Jio STB. The other limitation is that it can not control same devices independently. Like I have 3 fans in my living room but it does not allow me to connect them using 3 different names. However, this limitation is true for any universal remote.What I also like to highlight is the customer service which I have not experienced even from big brands. In couple of days after purchase, I got an email checking if I have any challenge setting up the product. I reached out to them since I was facing the above 2 challenges. To my surprise, I got a call from them on the same day and they explained me this limitation. For me, this is real customer service where the company genuinely wants to give a good experience to their customers. All in all, I am super happy with this purchase. I am using this remote to control the fan, a/c, TV and light and I feel like I have an assistant who helps me manage these devices.Go for it with any hesitation and enjoy the world of automation at a pocket friendly budget.

Works perfectly for my AC, TV & JIO set top box.Did not work for Amazon firestickFor LG AC on off, temp functions work but not the swing.Set top Jio works but for channel no there is lag.TV works well but not the building Samsung features.The custom map work for Firestick only on and off with volume only but not up and down functions.

A decent enough universal remote if you want to get rid of a cluster of remote controls to operate your various electronic equipment.
