Purchased as I couldnt get rid of thrips on indoor plants. The plants I put this on didnt get any more thrips till I washed it off. y other plants got the thrips. Its now on all plants. put on with a paintbrush and sprinkled on the back of the leaves and around the soil. Excellent sized bag and great value for money. Need a mask so you dont breath in as can cause irritation. If you have bugs and are struggling with them on your plants I do recommend this

If you make sure of good weather for a few days actually does get rid of ants nests in your garden.

We tried this Diatomaceous Earth (DE) powder to deal with a carpet moth problem, but unfortunately it didn’t solve the issue for us. That said, our case was quite severe, so this may still work better for lighter infestations or as part of a broader pest-control approach. The product itself seems fine - it’s easy to apply with a duster, feels natural and non-toxic, and gives peace of mind if you’re trying to avoid harsh chemicals in the home. We followed the usual advice around application (edges, cracks, affected areas), but didn’t see a meaningful reduction in moth activity on its own. In the end, we had to look at stronger or more targeted solutions. I wouldn’t say the product is bad — just that expectations should be realistic. For preventative use or minor crawling insect issues, it may be effective, but for established carpet moth infestations it may not be enough on its own. Best for: • Light or early-stage infestations • Preventative use • Households avoiding chemical treatments Natural and easy to use, but not powerful enough for our situation. A 3 star for us due to limited effectiveness in a severe case.

Have tried this for ant control. Will see next year if it works long term.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I chose this product because the seller assured me it would prevent those pesky black flies being able to nest in my indoor olive tree and using this powder meant I could surface water the tree, not the case I'm afraid. I used this powder as instructed on the top surface of my newly repotted indoor olive tree, as a precaution I surrounded the tree with sticky fly traps as I was going on holiday, on my return the fly traps were absolutely covered in those pesky, irritating black flies I was trying to avoid.... certainly didn't work for me but I don't know why? Instructions followed to the letter but no joy for me, except another repot as this soil is now infested!!
