Exactly what was described. It was really easy to install, perfect fit. The hardest part was digging out the old gasket. It came with all the necessary parts and the quality and value seem to be great.

You have to remove the part that goes above the screen, clean it, and re-use it. Do NOT throw it away! I used Urnex Cafiza and boiling water to let it sit there for a while. I, then, rinsed that part of the distribution head. Apparently, Nuova Simonelli sells the entire assembly as one unit, but I did not find on Amazon. After cleaning the group REALLY good, I inserted the gasket, screen, and screw; the machine displayed no leaks and it made awesome espresso: nice, thick, globs of coffee goodness!

This is the only one that fits properly for my oscar2 that I bought from Italy. All other cute little seals: silicone this blue color that, have not fit right, & I end up having to toss them away or see if they fit on the Aurelia 2 that is at my work. Which they don't fit that either so this one is the actual legit one for the Oscar2. I am so glad I scrolled long enough to find it because it doesn't show up right away it is awesome

This is OK price. But it’s not a perfect fit for my Oscar. The rubber gasket is either too thin or too soft. After installation, the filter basket will not stay at the central place. It goes towards the right side. I had to purchase another gasket from other place and the issue got fixed immediately.

Fits the nuova simonelli appia life. Very easy to install and works great. Should of changed sooner. The old was gasket hard to remove however it was used to long. Installed this one and works great. Will repurchase

This is not at all the right set for the oscar 2. just wanna save someone some time thag plans on buying it. the gasket is too thick so portafilter doesnt go on at all. the screen is too small, and the screw is way too skinny and that doesnt fit at all.
