nuLOOMHand Braided Otelia Denim And Jute Runner Rug, 2' 6" x 8', Denim

When I first rolled out this rug it was lumpy and warped. BUT . . . after a few days it laid flat. The blue and taupe colors are beautiful allowing for a range by of colors to be used in my bathroom. I would definitely purchase this rug again.

I bought this for my livingroom. The picture does not do it justice these rugs are gorgeous and add the perfect touch to my space!!!

The rug is very attractive. As I’ve not cleaned it or had it for long I can’t speak to durability or ease of cleaning. It seems very high quality and I anticipate not problems.

I ordered one of these rugs in the 6x9 size. I opened it up as soon as I received it. I was so excited for it, it was JUST what I was looking for!But as soon as I started to unroll it, I noticed it felt very damp. The smell of mildew filled the room. Disgusting. I left it open for a few hours with a big dehumidifier running next to it. Hours later, the smell of mildew still smothered my senses upon walking into the room. So I packaged the rug back up and returned, asking for a replacement, hoping it was just that the one got wet somewhere.The replacement rug finally arrived, and it has the same issue. MILDEW. DAMP. It's overwhelming. An entire shipment of these rugs must've been soaked somewhere in the shipping process long ago. Which is too bad, because I really like the rug otherwise! It is heavy and thick and rolled out well. It has the perfect look and size that I wanted for my son's room, and at a reasonable price (it was 60+% off).But we just can't have a big, wet, mildew infested rug in the house.

The color depicted isn't the color we received. I was hoping for a more natural jute color which is what I expected from the photos online. In fact it's much more of a salmon pink color.The texture is also a rag rug texture rather than a sturdy jute. It should be advertised as a rag rug. And for that it is quite pricey imo.I'm using it because we need something but I definitely won't reorder this one.

I love this rug. It looks like it’s made of of cut-up jeans. In some place, I even see red stitching. It hides stains really well because there are a lot of different shades of blue and it has lots of texture. I guess it’s about 1/4 jute and the rest denim. I put it in the main part of my kitchen because the floor was so cold and it was comfortable and hid stains well, vacuums well. I moved it under the kitchen table and it looks fantastic.

Smelled of mildew and was damp to the touch. I just got done with spring cleaning and finally put down this rug. Colors are nice and it looks well built. But the smell is unpleasant.UPDATE!! I kept getting the feeling that I was getting bit when sitting/laying on the rug ( I have a kotatsu). I thought "oh no, bedbugs!!" It was actually slivers of jute pricking me!

Update:.. exchange was easy and the denim one is beautiful!!! And the color is perfect. Looks so good in my tiny cabin!This is a wonderful rug, great texture and well made. I love it! HOWEVER!!! The color in the ad stated beige which is exactly what I wanted, but once it got here it’s actually a dusty pink, PINK! (See photo). Now that I look at the picture in the ad for the rug I can see that it skews to the pink side for sure but man this thing is PINK. This would look great in a girls room but not in my mountain cabin living room. Hopefully the denim color will be correctly represented because I exchanged this PINK one for the denim one.

Buying a rug is scary. They’re so expensive, and you so often end up with a flimsy, thin one that slips.Not this one. I did research about long lasting quality rugs, and learned that hand woven cotton is the material to go. This is basically the only one on Amazon that I found with woven cotton material.This rug is thick. Comfortable. Heavy. A mix between good looking and heavy duty. My dog scratches her nails on it all the time. I vacuum it frequently. It still looks great.Very satisfied

Love this rug. It's unique denim and jute braid that adds both warmth and texture to my family room. The rug it thick and comfortable but not fuzzy and soft but I didn't expect plushness from denim. The jute adds the perfect amount of subtle contrast to the denim.Like all braided rugs, it took 2 people to stretch it back to its shape after been rolled for storage. It did bubble in the centre (as expected) but this was also easy to correct. I'm super scent sensitive so I was worried after seeing comments about an odour but this was not the case - no smell at all.Great value for this rug and I would highly recommend it!

Format idéal pour une porte patio( 2x6). La couleur est beaucoup plus rose que beige. Un peu déçue pour ça mais il demeure quand même bien conçu. Il avait cependant un odeur un peu renfermée et humide. De plus, il était gondolé à plusieurs endroits, j'ai dû l'étirer beaucoup pour qu'il soit presque droit. Beaucoup plus de tissus que ce que je pensais, ce qui le rend doux.
