Do I Have to wash these before eating?

Why is the amount of selenium lower in these nuts (about 10 mcg per nut) than in other organic brands (about 90 mcg per nut)?

I also noticed this. I believe this is an error on the label. After researching, most Brazil nuts contain approx. 68-91 mcg selenium per nut. not 62 mcg per 6 nut serving size. (which would be about 10 mcg per nut as you stated). Most nutrition/health research suggests 2 nuts/day. It would be helpful if the company could respond.

Are the nuts pastuerized?

Didn't know that was a thing. I just checked the package and it does not say that. Just "raw brazil nuts".
