COCOSHIP Women's Retro Boho Flounce Falbala High Waist Bikini Set Chic Swimsuit(FBA)

I wanted a more conservative (read: fuller coverage) bikini that wasn’t too young, nor too matronly. This looked super cute in the photos and based on other reviews and their personal pics, (as well as REALLY inexpensive — $10.99 or so?) I decided to buy it. It was delivered on time and arrived without defects. I liked other color choices better but wanted the white (light) top and plain dark bottoms to accentuate my bust and minimize my hips. I am 5’8” and 170, with a longer torso and smaller waist. I ordered the white and black polka dot top with solid black briefs, and per reviewers’ recommendation, I ordered according to the size chart and it fit as expected. The molded cups were *slightly* bigger than I needed but not so much as to “dent” or gap. The adjustable back and neck ties also made it easy to customize the fit. Plus the ruffle camouflages the actual bra. The bottoms were full coverage and having a longer torso, there was enough “space” between the bra and top of the briefs that it do not consume my body. The ruching on the briefs hides and smooths any “imperfections” and gave a very flattering silhouette. I was surprised that a full coverage brief would work on my lower body shape — larger hips and thighs. Normally, I opt for higher cut legs but these hit somewhere between high and low (if that makes?) with some flexibility as to your preference without compromising the look of the retro brief. The waistline hit above my navel, eliminating any rolls or muffin top. The bottoms have enough spandex to hold you in without feeling like you’re wearing Spanx. I wore this to our community pool and received a ton of compliments on the suit, with a couple friends pulling out their phone to order right then and there, ha! And as much as I’d like to think it was bc I looked like a pin-up model in it (I didn’t) the suit just sells itself. You can also remove the neck ties but I did not feel like the top would stay in place, despite only being a 36B. The material and construction of the top make it heavier than any other bikini top I’ve owned, but not so heavy that it was uncomfortable or pulled on my neck. However, if you are large breasted and no longer perky (thank you children) you might need to wear the ties or even switch them for a thicker tie for sufficient support. Last thing, Indiana sun and chlorinated pool water had no ill effects in suit. However, wore it to FL and swam in pool (not sure of salt or chlorine) and left it in bathtub to later rinse out. . . Forgot til next day and the white top had discolored to an off-white for majority of material. And it wasn’t with the briefs or anything else. Nor did I wear suntan lotion (shame on me I know) so I thought with a wash through the machine, it’d improve. Nope. I didn’t bleach it but did use other type whiteners and stain removers. Still the same. No idea what occurred but it didn’t ruin it enough for me not to wear or even be noticeable to anyone but me. So, overall, a GREAT buy — quality material, flattering on pretty much anybody (might lose the desired look if you have a short torso???) and cute retro design but I’d advise to rinse and hang dry immediately after use.

I'll start by saying I'm 5'5" and about 165lbs right now. I'm a little heavier than I'd like to be and in my 30's now, so I thought it was time to stop wearing bikinis and embrace something more comfortable. I still wanted a cute suit, though, and this one is adorable.Now to the sizing: I read some reviews and saw one person who was my exact height and weight say a medium fit them perfectly. I wear a medium in most things, so I ordered it. I then started worrying about if it would be the right size, so I started obsessing over more reviews of smaller people than me fitting in the medium, the size chart saying a medium was a US6 (which I have never been in my adult life), and the actual measurements being off. So before the suit even got here, I was sure I was going to have to return it for a large. Something told me to wait, though, until I tried it on. The medium fit me perfectly! Snug enough that it gave some compression to my belly pooch but not so snug that it felt like it was digging into me. I will also say that the different patterns may have an impact. I ordered two suits of different colors to see which I liked best in person, and one was definitely slightly tighter than the other.I hope this review helps someone! I guess my advice would be to order a few sizes if you're on the edge and return what doesn't quite work.

I love this bathing suit. It has coverage in the back and looks like a one-piece but has the ease to go to the bathroom with a 2-piece. It is flattering and makes your waist look good if you are trying to "hide" a bit of curve. It is thick and durable with enough padding where you need it.

My favorite all time swimsuit ever!! I'm 5' 133 lbs size 8/9 jeans 36 B bra, ordered size M just because I wasn't sure on the size after reading so many mixed reviews from so many girls being about the same heights, weights, etc. so figured I'd just go in the middle. Now I understand why so many reviewers ordered different sizes yet they are approximately the same body type. It's fits snug yet It's forgiving and the halter ties, so in other words, if you're not sure what size to order the S, M, or L will work. However, small may not rouge (crinkle) up as much in the belly due to it fitting tighter & the large will rouge (crinkle) more. And the elastic legs are pretty easily stretchy, not a tough stretching elastic band that in my opinion wouldn't cut your legs off. The legs are a comfy fit. With all this said, it depends on how much you want to camouflage your belly as to the size you may prefer to go with for purchase. The more rouged (crinkles) the more camouflage. The halter is good for small or large breast as the cups aren't too small or large and it ties to adjust. If you're skeptical about ordering this suit, just go with your "GUT" and do it!! You'll be happy you did and you'll want another. I can see it being very flattering to any shape & size. It's all that & a bag of chips! You won't be able to settle for just one. COCOSHIP is my new favorite swimwear brand. LOVE IT!!
