Yes break in your subs at a low power for several hours before you attempt to throw full power at them if you don't break them in just right then the dependability and the durability goes out the window. I learned that the hard way with some really expensive JL's. And I just got some scar audio stuff myself and love it but I'm not sure if my amp works with my sub either so I'm just going to break it in and then C after that and the someone here can help me
