Perfect Support for Our Son's Bed
This is exactly what we needed for our son's bed. We had wood boards across the frame under the mattress, but they never stayed in place, especially with kids jumping all over it. This set supports everything perfectly and even fixed the sagging at the end of the bed. I honestly do not know why we waited so long to buy this. The covered wood slats keep everything from shifting and give the mattress a smooth, even base. They do not add any height, which is great for tall mattresses or platform beds. The airflow is noticeably better too, since the gaps allow heat and moisture to escape. We still put the other boards we were using across the top of this to add extra strength, because, well, kids. It all works together really well and feels solid. Installation could not be easier. They come bundled, no tools needed, and lay right on the frame. The quality is excellent, just make sure to measure your frame before ordering. Highly recommend if you need a simple, sturdy upgrade for your bed.

Very strong and sturdy
We wanted to get rid of our box springs that were squeaking. This was perfect. Quality is top notch. Very strong and sturdy. Our mattress actually works so much better with this than the box springs. Instructions and not the best. We put it together inside the frame which seemed to be easier. We have a 4 poster wood bed with a headboard and footboard that has curved corners. So we were concerned that the frame would not be able to fit inside. It fit perfectly and makes the bed feel sturdier.` So glad we made the switch out of a box spring

Overall Good
Good board, but I do feel it is struggling holding the weight. I have an 18” king sized bed that is quite heavy and every time my husband gets in bed you can hear it creaking. Also getting the bed on top of the boards was a challenge. Since there’s no non slip grips, the boards slid as we put our mattress on. If you can easily lift your mattress no problem, but for us two, definitely wasn’t going to happen.

Slat spacing claimed is not accurate.
Product in gerenal seems quality, but beware if you're purchasing this product to meet a specific mattress warranty requirement. Product details stated that the heavy duty has 4.5in between slats. We're measuring 5" minimum and because the slats can slide some within the fabric pockets, it can be up to 5.5". now we have to take the trouble to repackage and return, when that could've been avoided with accurate product information. Also not sure why the slats are manufactured to be 78" (across all queen vertical options with this brand) when standard queen mattresses are 80"? We had already had to compromise there since the alternative products that were 80" didn't meet our slat spacing requirement. The horizontal slats from this same brand we purchased for a different bed were accurate slat spacing to their product informaiton.

Incorrect velcro pads. Could not connect.
The reason for the stars is because It has four points with velcro strap pieces to keep the two halves together. Mine came with only one side able to be velcro because the other side had just the soft fuzz on both ends instead of the velcro hooks and fuzzy pieces. Plus side. The wood slats are wide and great when paired with cheaper metal king size frames since the metal bars are usually really thin.

Game changer - don't hesitate to buy
If your mattress feels saggy or you wake up with a stiff back, try this before investing in a $X,000 mattress! This completely changed my bed, which didn't have enough slats to be a "true" platform bed, and fully supports my king-sized mattress. It fits perfectly from end-to-end and side-to-side. It was super easy to install, two of them velcro together in the center, and they disappear entirely even though my side rails don't have a lot of vertical space.
