FIRST SPROUT AT 16 DAYS
I was very worried about how hard these peppers are to grow, I did 1/3 of the seeds in soil and start trays and 1/3 using the paper towel in a ziploc baggie method. I got my first sprout in soil at 16 days and in the paper towel at 22 days. I sprouted them in a walk in closet with a small space heater and an LED grow light. The sprouts look very healthy and I will follow up my review in a few months when I actually have some fruit.

No viable seeds UPDATED 1/4/24
UPDATE: I was able to finally get 1/10 seeds to germinate. Still pretty abysmal rate, and germination didn’t look too strong. I will not be updating the star rating.0/10 viable seeds. Caring takes effort, but germinating is pretty easy. None germinated. Waste of money

91% Germination -10/11 seeds sprouted
-Reviewed at 6.99(11 seeds received)-Ordered March 15th 2024-Received March 17th 2024-10 of 11 seeds(91%) germinated----Note this was in 2 attempts with my setup. 7 Germinated at day 10-11, I left the remaining 4 in my germinator, for at least another week, with no success. I pulled the 4 out and let them dry/cool to 70 degrees for 3 days, then returned to the germinator, where 3 of the remaining 4 sprouted after a week or so.---My "germinator" is a tote with about 4-5" of water and a cinder block island to place the seed pods on. I placed an aquarium heater set to 80 degrees in the water, seed pods on island, and place the tote lid(no light). This keeps the temp at 80 degrees with a humid and rainy(condensates on lid and drops down onto seeds) environment. I pull the sprouts out and place under daylights, in another tote thereafter.

Good seeds, just very, very slow to grow. Be very patient.
I have to change my review, I was not happy with the germination rate of these seeds at first but wow, I completely underestimated the germination time. They took several weeks longer than my chocolate ghost peppers. They took forever to germinate with a heating pad and germination pod. I planted the seeds, as I do with all my peppers. Watered, heating pad, grow lights, you name it. I have 90+ percent germination rate this way. I planted these, and nothing after a month. The other pepper seeds on the other side of the germination pod were 2 inches. I removed the seedlings and replanted other chili seeds. When those were about 2 inches tall about 4-5 week later, the Reapers just barely started poking up through the dirt and were 1/4" tall. Now out of 6 seeds, I have 4 very happy healthy plants about 6 inches tall. Buyer beware, they are very picky to germinate, and take forever to sprout. But honestly what the hell do I need 4 of these plants for?

2/10
Only 2/10 of the seeds germinated. They’re only about an inch and a half tall right now. I’m happy at least 2 of them germinated but that doesn’t justify the price. I get it though, there aren’t many options for purchasing reaper seeds.

Are you joking? 100%. 10 ⭐
This is my first attempt at ever growing anything. I simply did the research, germination test and 2weeks in a bag on a heat mat. Not a single seed started in the bag but I planted them anyways doubling up a few. 11/12 were good from the soak test and 11 went in the bag These seedlings photos were taken at 30 days. I count 11of11. This is by far the slowest to start off of all the pepper plants I have, but it is the fastest growing and one for the most successful.I could not be happier.

Seeds are growing but grass instead
The seeds took off, but so far all I am getting is grass. Will not buy this brand again since seeds are cheaper than peppers.Only gave it a two because the seeds are growing just the wrong thing.
