Great curves for woodworking. They are a little on the thick side but that’s why I was looking for when tracing my French curves. Very easy and sturdy for my marking knife to get right up to the edge for tracing the line.

Scrapbooking. The curls and swirls have helped me make waves, circles, place long wording or use the stencil for corners on my paper. I found these implements very useful.

These were actually better than I expected them to be with only one flaw. Which is why I’m only giving them 4 stars. Ok, that loss of a star is only a personal preference so these may be a 5 star for other people. Here’s why. These are made pretty thick and the clarity of the green plastic is crystal clear. Now the thickness may be great for others, but I was hoping for a little more flexibility to it. More bendable. But I’m afraid that if these were flexed a bit too much they may crack or break. Being more flexible helps out with people using these for airbrushing. So I’m still searching for a set of these that has the same plastic used as the name brand templates made for drafters and architecture. However, using these French curves to trace out the same shapes on thinner acetate and cutting it out worked great. These are definitely a nice sturdy set of large French curves, so these might be exactly what some of you may be looking for. So yes, I would definitely suggest these to others. The price is definitely worth what your getting here. It’s also nice to have a set or two of these put back in your art supplies collection. I hope this review helps some of you out looking for a nice set of large French curves.

French Curves arrived as promised. One of the smallest ones had a slight chip at the tip of one of the profiles. It must have been damaged pre-packaging as the tip was not in the pouch. I thought about sending it back but decided to carefully round it off and modify it. Looks like new after. Plastic seems durable. I bought these to make my own scroll saw fret patterns on graph paper so I may scroll saw them out.
