are these gluten free? Doesn't say so on the bag, so I'm suspicious that they are not

Gluten can be found in preservatives used in all products from foods to lotions. After researching a lot of ingredients that turn out to be gluten free, I think packages avoid labeling them as gluten free because a lot of times it requires extra “seal of authenticity” which costs time and money. There is a chance it can be contaminated with gluten, but for the most part it is gluten free. If you are celiac abs really sensitive, stay away from anything that doesn’t stay CGF “certified gluten free.”

This is what their website says: ALMONDS, SUGAR, COCOA POWDER (PROCESSED WITH ALKALI), CORN MALTODEXTRIN, NATURAL FLAVOR, SEA SALT, REBIANA (STEVIA EXTRACT). I think that means the answer is yes assuming there's no dairy in the cocoa powder.

Are these good for weight loss?

These are good for in between meal snacks for protein and fiber. Just like most healthier snacks they can help with weight loss if you practice eating proper portions. Almonds are a good way to curb your appetite but too much will actually contribute to weight gain although still good for digestion.
