Does this thing work? I think the better question is, do you have a vacuum that will pickup the second dog you’ve created? This thing is great. I recommend.We have 4, yep 4, German Shepards. We typically vacuum multiple times a day, but since using this thing twice a week, we now only vacuum every other day. This thing gets hair that our other combs and brushes don’t get. I was a little worried at first because it’s made of wood and metal, but the dogs enjoy when we use it. They do bicycle kicks and they’re happy as can be. None of our dogs act like they’re in any pain, they don’t thrash, struggle, cry, or run. So for our Shepards, this thing is painless.We use the brush on dry hair. We brush their sides, necks, back, and belly. The brush is easy to use, doesn’t seem to snag their skin, doesn’t rip or pull. However I find it easier to utilize if you hold your dogs skin taught. Not pulling on their skin, just keeping it from giggling around.I will likely be purchasing more of these to give away as gifts for my fellow dog lovers. I am extremely impressed.

100/10. This actually shocked me by how well it worked. I just got it today, I was a little unsure at first cause it doesn’t look like much. But the saying don’t judge a book by it’s cover, definitely applies here.We have 4 dogs and a cat who are all currently loosing their winter coats. I have 2 small dogs(short haired chihuahua & kinda wire haired chihuahua), a medium size (terrier mix with wire hair) and a large size dog (yellow lab). 1 chihuahua and the lab actually sat still for the brushing , which never happens. The chihuahua actually kept coming back for more. The other chihuahua frog legged out and was prepared to live her best life being brushed. And the terrier fell asleep.The cat rolled off the top of sofa (onto the actual sofa) trying to roll so we could get more of an area. I over filled a Walmart bag with hair.With a wooden handle and the actual brush head this product seems to be durable and well made. I can see why this would be useful in grooming/bathing animal and it didn’t seem to be painful at all.I’ve already recommended it to 2 family members.Absolutely love this product so far. I will definitely update if anything changes

I was skeptical to buy this because the reviews were great, but everyone seemed to get so much hair off of their animals I assumed it was because they were already not brushing them well. I bought it and I am SHOCKED. I have no clue how it’s so great, but it desheds without damaging the coat and gets SO much fur, I already brushed my pets a lot so I assumed I wouldn’t get much fur off, but i was wrong. You need to use short repeated strokes, and it’s not a thing that needs one stroke to collect fur. Don’t let this deceive you, once you brush repeatedly with short strokes you will get an unbelievable amount of fur. It doesn’t have a sharp blade or anything, it’s just genuinely that good at deshedding. My two cats and dog love getting brushed with this and it gets so much dandruff off of them as well. This works so well!The white stuff in the photo is the dead skin I wiped off the brush after using it on my dog. And the fourth photo shows how much dead skin and oils it collected.No idea how it got do much considering that this part of the brush didn’t brush against her when I used it.

I felt a little bit ripped off when I saw what it really was. A hack saw blade in a hand holder. But it's easy to use and it actually works great.

There are several different types of brushes/combs in a drawer that have done very little in grooming my cats over the years. One cat lives with me now, she’s a medium length tuxie who sheds a lot. When watching Girl With The Dogs grooming video, she was using one of these on a dog and the amount of undercoat she had removed really caught my attention. I found this same brand and decided to purchase the small one.My cat enjoys being groomed, except for her belly, so I knew that she’d like this, but I was wrong. She loves it! It works best using short strokes just like a cat would in cleaning herself. The amount of fluff that comes off is fantastic, and I know my cat sheds less now. Since she’s ingesting less loose fur during her own grooming, there have been no more hairballs being coughed up. I never realized how much of an undercoat she actually has.This groomer fits well in my hand, the grip is made of a smooth wood and it comes in many different colors, I chose purple. It’s very sturdy and it should hold up for a very long time. The only downside-side is that I have to use my hand or a different brush to actually remove the deshedded fur off my cat’s body because this doesn’t. It piles up in a very short amount of time and the fluff just lays there til taken off. This is a product that’s been used a lot, I highly recommend it.
