It's a decent phone holder
The flexible arm is extremely stiff and hard to get situated where you want it. You have to be careful when adjusting it. Based on the 'cracking' sounds it's likely the clamp will break if you're not careful. If you don't have a spot that is relatively flat, meaning no lips or anything that most tables have on the edges, the mount moves a lot if you try to adjust the flexible arm.

Great addition to the ongoing solar wave that's been hitting my home.
I've been working to utilize my new solar panels and cut power to as many large and small appliances as I can and now I am happy to say that with the help of this, 'Moutik Gooseneck Phone Holder Flexible Lazy 360 Degree Rotating Phone Holder long Arm Stand Compatible...." (whew, long name just keeps going on and on) I'm able to ditch my old TV/DVD player, saving tons of power and $$ each week; decreasing my overall CO2 footprint. This thing is long, sturdy and stays put in the configuration of your choosing. A secure fit for your expensive iPhone or other smart phone device. The phone holder makes possible the perfect positioning of my phone alongside of my bed for evening viewing (streaming) of my favorite shows. I just clamped it to my bookcase and wired an extended USB/lightening cable using hook and loom cable ties and bingo, works great! At first I thought that the screen was too small for my enjoyment, then I found the perfect solution for that problem here on Amazon as well. Check out: 'Brightech LightView Pro LED Magnifying Floor Lamp' I purchased a refurbished one for $50 something.... Together with the Moutik phone holder, a good Bluetooth speaker, and a sizable power brick, this makes for easy, solar-powered magnified viewing. Another redneck fix for an off-gridder wannabe!Have Fun! Think Green.

Good for price
For the price the stand works well. however it shakes a good bit if there is any movement. I suggest connecting to something that is mostly immovable. Like attached to a wall or something very sturdy. If you are using this for streaming or whatnot then i would not recommend unless like i said, you connect it to the wall or something very sturdy.

Stiff gooseneck!!!!
The gooseneck is very long and VERY stiff. It stays where you put it but is so stiff it loosens the clip on the table when you adjust the arm. The gooseneck needs to be more flexible and less stiff to adjust. It works but I think it could be better.

Broke after a year of non-abusive use
The metal used in the arm snapped - the only time it was bent was to move towards, or away from me to adjust viewing distance. And it wasn't over the top.

Does the job well!
I’m glad I ran upon this product. I bought one from another company and it was disappointing, but this one is actually strong enough to hold up my phone and easy to use; I can place it almost anywhere, though it’s difficult if it’s a round edge.My only complaint is that the head isn’t adjustable, so that I can turn my phone around, horizontally and vertically. However, from the pictures, it seems that I can, so maybe I just haven’t figured out how yet.

Worked as a CPAP hose holder for me
I purchased this just to hold my CPAP hose and reduce the tension on the face mask. It worked very well. I easily attached the base to a bedside table where the CPAP sat. I did a couple of curves in the holder to get the right height. The holder is a little stiff and I had to carefully form the curves and that stiffness now helps add stability to my purpose. Used a ponytail scrunchie to hold the hose to the holder. Using for about 2 weeks now. Everything is going very well.

A wonderfully helpful device.
My hand and left shoulder were becoming quite painful due to holding the phone while in bed, and now is suspended in front of me. I love it. Instead of typing, I simply dictate everything. No more pain!! An inexpensive wonder.

Good stability but the glue holding the rubber pads is weak
The stand holds shape very well and is easy to mount. Mine holds the phone horizontally and unfortunately the glue holding the rubber pads that hold the phone in place is too weak -- the top pad falls off every few days. Not very happy with that part, but a drop of super glue might fix it.

Strong and sturdy!
I found the grip to be a bit weak on the section that ho oh do the phone but if you don’t fiddle with it once attached it works great. The neck on this is very strong and stays in place without slipping, as well as the table attachment part it also holds well for filming, overall I would recommend it!

Phone drops easily when you try to adjust. Holding mechanism is horrid.
Phone drops easily when you try to adjust. Holding mechanism is horrid. Arm is long and stable, but the part that holds the phone is horrible. I've had my phone drop multiple times when try to adjust the arm because of the poor grip mechanism.

Great product, but pads have fallen off the very first time we used them.
Fell apart first use. The pads that hold the phone fell off. To bad, the rest of it is ok.
