The one I got is 8 inches. Might it come larger size -- need to check. It has been perfect for our Cavachon who was about 3 pounds when she got it. Funny that I got a question about this today. This Flopsie is so amazing. My puppy slept through the night with it without a whimper since she was 7 weeks old. But today dear Flopsie got into a puddle of #1. I put it into one of those washer bags, ran it through on normal cyle (put some spot remover on the spot). It came out clean as a whistle and not one mark on it from washing it. Fantastic and believe me I am not paid to write about this. It's given this little puppy of our such joy. Hope this helps.

The dog sold here is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. It is not a Shih Tzu. It is very soft and cuddly and looks exactly as pictured. It is just about 8”. But it is not the same breed of dog. If the child is very young it won’t make a difference. If the child is old enough to recognize one breed of dog from another, this toy won’t fool them. It’s tan and white, not brown. It does not look much like a Shih Tzu. It looks exactly like a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

This is a very cute, soft, squishy puppy. It will fit great in the stocking! It's about 4 inches wide at the head/shoulders, but it can be squished smaller if necessary. :-)
