Very nice product

I got a single 2‑panel pack to test the walnut slat design behind my home‑office monitor. Each board arrives straight and blemish‑free, and the grain looks like real timber rather than printed veneer. Mounting is simple: pre‑drilled holes align with the included screws, though a bead of grab adhesive kept everything perfectly flush on plasterboard. At 240 × 20cm, the pair covers just under a square metre—enough for a tidy feature strip—and immediately knocks down the high‑frequency flutter. Materials feel good and the felt backing has a reassuring density. I’ll add more packs for a larger span, but even this trial run shows they’re a cost‑effective way to add warmth and subtle sound control. They happen to be as tall as my ceilings - 2.4m, but I thought it's also important to note that you do not need to have them set up covering your whole wall. Any amount is better than none, and for me, creating a zone behind my desk was plenty - I simply halved the boards for a total of 80cm length and 120cm height. This provided noticeable sound dampening.

Arrived damaged

Having just refurbed my house and my study, and with removal of all books and bookshelf, the study sounded like being in a cubicle at the local service station. Not the best when being on a conference call and wasn't too keen getting the bookshelf back in either. Anyhow, these panels stand very tall, come in a very tall thin box (disappointing, but luckily no damage or scuffs) and quite heavy to manoeuvre and install. The panels stand 2.4 m tall by 20cm wide and you get 2 panels and installation is quite easy, simply by screwing onto the wall via screws through the grooves. The design brings back some nostalgia as when growing up, many offices used to have similar wooden panels in their offices, probably not the same quality, but they certainly look great.
