Great little laptop. Runs all the modern games really well with the Ryzen 9 and 3070ti. Luckily i got it before the ram and gpu prices went up. But no real complaints so far!

Mains power cuts during heavy usage, like when gaming. This forces the laptop to use the battery which causes a huge drop in performance. This is likely the Power Supply that is at fault and not the laptop, but it is unacceptable from the company like Asus. Also the pictures on the website are wrong, they are not the laptop you receive in the box, and it only has 165Hz screen not 240Hz

Absolutely amazing laptop definitely worth the money. Very fast and keeps cool. The WiFi is very fast and I can get 1500+ mbps via wifi

I'm leaving a 4 star review, only because Amazon used misleading marketing and imagery from the Intel version. The laptop itself is great, I watched plenty of reviews and benchmarks, read Asus' official product specs, and realised the AMD 8940HX variant uses the 2024 chassis, which has a WUXA display (1920x1200 @165Hz), and has the front light bar, only the intel variants have the full 360 light bar. Onto the product...fast, keeps very cool under load, I played Dead Space, and Calisto Protocol at Ultra settings (RT on) at native 4k (external screen), and easily got over 60fps (DLSS off). The internal screen is 1080p but has uniform brightness, and is ideal for a 5070ti which handles everything I threw at it easily. 300 - 400fps in Fortnite. I was worried that the 8940HX would struggle compared to a Core Ultra 9, but it's handling everything I play without any issue, while still keeping the laptop cool to the touch, and fans almost silent (AMD chassis has rear + side ventilation). Port selection is great, 2 USB A 3.2 Gen 1, and 2 USB4 (40gbps) one with display, one without. Intel variants have Thunderbolt 5, and the easy maintainance hatch, so if you need full port futerproofing intel may be a better option. I picked this AMD version up at £1800, which fit my budget, and with RAM prices set to skyrocket in 2026 I'd advise grabbing a 32GB+ and going for a 5070ti or higher (5070 has 8GB, 5070ti verion has 12GB). Ive only had it a week but very happy so far.

Upgraded from a TUF with a 3070 so good jump with VRAM and 12GB being a sweet spot fot future games so would recommend spending a little extra on a Ti than the regular 5070 version as started hitting the wall on newer games with 8gb Vram previously

The laptop itself works and feels really good, but description and pics are completely wrong. My model supposed to have 240hz display and numpad on touchpad, it has none of those, plus it came with mcafee malware

The laptop is exceptional and super fast. My one star is only because in the picture it shows the one that has the numpad on the touchpad, but Amazon sent me the one without it. After checking that the hardware specifications matched the listed item (and they did), I decided to cancel my return. I also have to say, getting a return ticket took me around 1 hour, speaking with 5 people in customer service who just bounced me from one to another because they couldn’t sort it out since it was an expensive item. Sound quality is ok-ish—nothing exceptional—but connectivity is pretty good. Overall, it’s a great laptop and I would rate it 5 stars, but Amazon’s service in this particular case is a 1. It arrived fast though, can’t complain about that. This was my only bad experience dealing with customer service; all the others were great and I had no complaints.
