Love these double bag sand bags. Made filling very easy and convenient, and keeps sand contained. Bought the navy and the purple - great colors. Seem Very durable and strong. Very pleased with quality especially for the money. Great purchase very happy customer.

These are made of nice quality material with sturdy zippers. While I haven't had them long enough to use them much, they have worked well so far. As far as filling them, I was concerned that the typical sand you can purchase cheaply would result in dust "poofing" out of the bags. Plus, I didn't want to buy 50 pounds of sand when I only needed 20, even if it is cheap. After some research, I came across Jurassic Sands. They sell natural sand so dust is not an issue. (Check out their website for more info.) You can buy Jurassic Sand from Amazon, but I called the company to get a recommendation for the right type to use in these bags. They recommended the RiverBed Sand. It's relatively large-grained and heavy, but "fluid" once it is in the bags. And there was absolutely no dust when I poured the sand into the bags.

These sand bags are great tools for enhancing yoga workouts. The inner bag contains the sand and works great for preventing sand from leaking out. Note that the item does not come with sand. The bag feels cool to the touch which is nice during the yoga routine (I keep the sand bags out of direct sunlight while I am not using them). The bags and the attached handle strap are highly durable and make moving and readjusting the bags very efficient and easy. I use two of these sand bags at six (about 60% full) and eight pounds (about %80 full).So far, I have not had any problems with the sand bags!!

My bad for thinking I was getting a set of two. This is an inner and outer bag set.I filled it with pea gravel (because finding sand was a challenge).I use it to lay on with my thorax to stretch my chest or by placing it on one shoulder than the other to increase chest expansion.I think I’ll order another one soon, but it has worked well.

Training for a Spartan run and this is exactly what I have been looking for. Hold 10 pounds of find grain sand without it leaking all over the place. I like the fact it has an inner bag and then the outer bag. Not sure how long it will least, but the seams seem strong, and I hoping to at least get 6 months of heavy workout (3 times a week) out of this bag. I actually purchased 2 since the price was cheap. So far I'm happy with how these Yoga Sand bags are holding up. The handle is nice and is sewn well into the bag.

I wanted a sandbag to add to bodyweight workouts, to put in a backpack, etc. I was able to actually get 12 lb. of sand in the inner bag and it still zips and has some room to move so it doesn't overload/stress the bag.As some reviewers mentioned, I put the inner bag inside the outer first, then carefully added the sand to the inner bag, just kept adding it and left a couple inches of space to not overstress the bag or zipper.I like having a handy extra weight you can add to yourself or a bag to workout.

The inner bags are thin nylon and dust easily escapes them. The outer bags are cotton and dust also easily escapes them. Silica dust from sand is a carcinogen and I do not want it in my yoga room or school.I can smell the sand dust and see it when I manipulate these bags. The outer bags seem fairly sturdy.The only way to make these dust proof is to find a proper sized waterproof plastic bag to put the sand in, and then insert that into the outer bag.

I filled these with sand and use them as weights to put on woodworking projects when gluing pieces together. They work perfect for my needs.
