Seems to work quickly.
We had a bit of a mouse, or even a rat, problem. A few days of using this product seemed to get rid of them.

Excellent in keeping rats and CCTV Spider's Webs at bay but not quite so good with mice!
Mixed results here with some unexpected........ I purchased this to deter the mice and rats from eating the Hedgehog's Food. Fortunately the area is covered by 24 hour CCTV, which is triggered when visitors enter or leave the Hedgehog's Feeding Station. It is simple enough to apply, just shake, twist the nozzle to 'ON', point and spray. There is a strong Peppermint odour. Since using the RepelShield I haven't seen a rat, however there is the odd mouse. One secondary tip I learnt from another online review, is that this spray works well when sprayed onto and around CCTV Cameras in keeping spiders and their webs at bay, and thus far, it works well, not 100%, but let's say a 90% success rate. However, for best results, you also have to spray any nearby surfaces that spiders may use and re-apply the RepelShield every now and again, more so if open to the elements (rain). It is a rather expensive solution and I wish they did a larger container (500ml or 1000ml which might be more economical. Would I buy it again? Yes definitely, in fact I already have!

RepellShield Mouse Repellent Spray - An Aromatic Solution for Pest Control
I recently tried the RepellShield Mouse Repellent Spray as an alternative to traditional mouse traps, hoping to find a more humane and eco-friendly solution to deal with a minor mouse infestation in my home. While the peppermint oil-based repellent showed some promise, it fell short in certain areas. One of the significant advantages of this mouse repellent is its pleasant aroma. The peppermint oil scent is refreshing and acts as a natural deterrent for mice and rats. It's a welcome change from the harsh and toxic fumes often associated with chemical-based pest control products. I also appreciate that it doesn't leave any strong lingering odors in my living spaces. The application of the spray is straightforward, and the 250ml bottle provides ample coverage for multiple areas around the house. It's also easy to target specific entry points and areas where mice are likely to roam, such as around doors, windows, and other potential access points. However, I found the effectiveness of the RepellShield Mouse Repellent to be somewhat inconsistent. While it seemed to deter mice in certain areas, it didn't entirely prevent them from returning to others. The repellent appeared to work better as a preventive measure than as a complete solution to an existing infestation. Additionally, it's essential to reapply the spray regularly, especially in high-traffic areas, as the effectiveness wears off over time. This can become a bit cumbersome, particularly for large spaces or ongoing pest problems. While I appreciate the non-toxic and eco-friendly nature of this repellent, it may not be the most practical option for severe mouse infestations. In such cases, traditional mouse traps or professional extermination services might be necessary for more effective results. In conclusion, the RepellShield Mouse Repellent Spray offers a natural and aromatic approach to pest control, which is a refreshing change from chemical-laden alternatives. While it has its merits as a preventive measure and minor infestation deterrent, it may not be the most robust solution for more significant mouse problems. For users seeking a humane and eco-friendly option to keep mice at bay, this repellent is worth considering, but for more severe infestations, other methods might be required.

Inconsistent formula?
Excellent product. As an ethical vegan I did not want to use lethal means to remove mice. The live capture trap worked once but the mice learnt to avoid it. I had read about peppermint oil. I tried essential oil with some success, but it was €10 for a tiny vial of 10ml. Tjis stuff is brilliant. I spray it in the cupboard where they are getting in (the hole is not accessible and I have used so many cans of expanding foam). I also spray some on cotton wool balls and leave near the bin etc. If you get this and still hear or see a mouse, it's is likely you haven't used it in enough areas. This is such a clever product. The smell is very strong to mice who have 100 times better smell than we do, so it is an irritant. It also masks the pheromones from their urine meaning they cannot navigate rooms thry previously explored. It really worked for me and I will definitely order more. Like I said, if you are disappointed, you are not using enough or in all the areas affected. Update 6 Feb 2022. Second bottle arrived today. The bottle was sealed in polythene and had leaked but tightening the cap fixed this. However, it smells very sweet, almost like Murray Mints or butter mintoes, not as strong as the first bottle which smelled very strongly of peppermint, cloves and cinnamon. I have just resprayed, so am not sure if this will be as effective or not.

Completely ineffective and waste of money.
I bought this as rats are entering my hedgehog feeding station, despite having an expensive rat-repellent feeding station. They're getting in and eating my hedgehog's food. I sprayed this all over the feeding station, on the surrounding area and onto the flaps (where they enter). It made no difference whatsover. They just carried on. Meanwhile my hedgehog wasn't too impressed with her food station smelling so minty fresh. Total waste of money. Now I've had to spend another £21 on a humane rat trap. I would say just go straight for a humane rat trap and don't bother with this stuff.

Does seem to work.
Amazingly it does seem to work. I've had a few bottles. Much cheaper than the £400 annually I was paying for pest control. The winter is coming that will really test it. My problem was rats around my bird feeders.
