I have recently taken up sewing as a hobby. This book is perfect! It has all the patterns to everything she shows in the book.

The pictures in the book are really nice and clear, and the instructions well written. If you are a hipser, by all means get this book. It was made for you. For the rest of us.. not so much. Unless you want a 50's style dress, or a fabric covered hoola-hoop with matching underwear this book is not for you. I gave it three stars because it is cute.Anyone planning to attend the mermaid parade in Coney Island might want to purchase a copy though... the hoola-hoop and panties are perfect for the occasion.

Probably good for a beginner. I was hoping for advanced techniques. Anazon's policies allowed me to return the book.

The projects in this book are awesome and easy to follow. Also very trendy for young adults unlike most sewing books out there today
