I am pleasantly surprised by the results of this product which is effective and very reasonably priced. I was deeply hesitant trying this product after using a 5 % minoxidil formula for women, which caused intense discomfort for the short period that I tried it ( though baby hairs did appear!) It was simply too uncomfortable to continue as it seemed to cause a lot of uncomfortable sensations in my scalp and almost led to dandruff. Using this 2% formula has been entirely pain free and thankfully, also effective. Very pleased to have found it! I have since stocked up on more as I understand the treatment needs to be continued to maintain the good results.

To start, my hair isn't balding or receding but it has gotten thinner over the last few years. I purchased this product to try to get back some of that fullness that I lost after turning 30. I’ve been using this Minoxidil foam for a while now, and I can definitely feel a difference. My hair feels fuller, and it appears some of the thinner areas are starting to fill in. It doesn’t work overnight, but if you stick with it, you’ll start to notice changes over time. The foam is easy to apply and dries quickly without making my hair greasy. There’s no strong smell, and it fits easily into my routine. Just be consistent, and give it time to work. So far, I’m happy with the results.

I used this product for one week, and it left my hair and scalp greasy and sticky feeling. You can’t avoid getting the product on your hair while rubbing it into your scalp. The foam almost instantly turned into a liquid. It is not returnable, so I am out my $18. I do not recommend this product.

I have a pretty sensitive scalp and this did not bother it, so that is great. However, if I used the foam twice a day as directed, I would perpetually look like I had greasy hair. I've even tried the tip applying it with a brush to avoid getting it on the hair or applying it just out of the shower. Basically, you might fix the problem of thinning hair in using this but your hair will always look like it needs to be washed. So, I will use it on the night's before I plan to wash my hair.

The spray bottle is convenient and easier to apply than the dropper versions I’ve tried before. It doesn’t leave my scalp too greasy, and it dries fairly quickly. I also started applying it to my beard area, and I’ve noticed it’s slowly starting to fill in some of the patchy spots there too.

The foam has no scent and is not oily. It absorbs quickly. However it is not as thick as other products I have used like the Equate brand from Walmart. That is much creamier and thicker and coverage is better. This product has a lot of air in it, fluffier and doesn't have good coverage. I'm switching back bc I feel that more product on your head will give you better results. I think maybe I had more shedding while using this brand of monoxidil.
