Cheap for a reason — constant issues I had reservations about this trimmer because of the low price, and sadly those reservations were right. I’ll give it credit where it’s due — the handle is comfortable, the cable length is decent, and when it actually works the trimming is fine. The problem is it constantly breaks. As soon as it touches anything tougher than light grass, the line unravels, the clip at the bottom comes loose, and the cover plate is a nightmare to reinstall. It’s more hassle than it’s worth. I missed the return window otherwise I’d have sent it straight back. For a small garden I just wanted something simple and affordable, but this turned out to be a poor buy. Unless the design gets fixed, I wouldn’t recommend it. Two stars.

This is the worst strimmer I've ever owned. The line snapped within 10 seconds of use. The guard holder was hard to remove, the spool pinged off and unwound, and was a nightmare to try and rewind. The tiny slots just about held the line, but as soon as released unwound again. Absolute rubbish .. Then I realised the spring to use the autofeed was gone probably pinged off into obscurity never to be seen again. So I managed to buy a replacement. Now I've read a review citing similar problems.. and there is no spring !! I tried a better quality line but makes no difference. I'm looking into returning as this is not fit for purpose, very difficult to refill and will try the patience of a saint. I want simplicity, not a challenge at every use I would definitely not recommend this load of rubbish .. buy better brand. Back to using my late dad's 40+ year old flymo which I'd put into retirement... but still works

Burnt out after 2 uses. Couldn't handle a small garden, just cutting the edges of the grass path. Knew the price was too good to be true. And just as the return window closed.
