This stuff is great!
This stuff is great! Went on very easy, just used a hair dryer to warm it up in spots and easily push out any bubbles. The look is great! Stretches around bends nicely once you war, it up. Huge roll! Thinking what else i can wrap! Would definitely recommend! Used it to wrap the A-Columns in my car. They came out amazing on the first try!

Love it!
I have never applyed any type of vehicle wrap before this. I studied plenty of vehicle wraps on youtube and took this matter into my own hands. I have a 1996 Infiniti I30 I paid 2500 for and $200 for a new paint job on a hood was a little out of my price range. I asked my daughter, wife and sons to help me and it still looks great! Other than the few scratches I got from flipping the hood over to wrap around the edges. $40 bucks for a great looking carbon fiber hood, that no one else has? Priceless!

Buy what you need all at once
Careful if you are doing in sections buy all at once. I did hood to try it out then bought more for roof and trunk and it didn't match the stuff I got before. Even though I hit buy it again in my orders. Kinda pissed but it's really cool and does lay down wwill.

Lets be real here
This product is ok. Its not great and its not bad. Thats why i gave it a 3 star. Bad: 1. Its very thick. This might be a good thing as well. The problem with it being so thick is that it does not conform well to rounded objects like mirrors. Even with heat it was still kind of hard to work with. Also being so thick it does not like to be rolled around corners 2. Even when you heat and stretch it, it likes to go back to its original size. When i was wrapping the mirror cap, every time the heat gun would get close to where i already laid it, it would shrink back. 3. The biggest problem i had with this vinyl the adhesive is pretty weak. It does not stick well at all, especially to rounded surfaces. Good: 1. Looks and feels awesome. 2. Thickness. I know because of the thickness its hard to work with on rounded edges. I also wrapped my roof on my car because I have a bike, and kayak rack. To protect the paint I used this as a barrier is i was to drop the bike on the roof. Because it is tick i think that it will provide a good amount of protection. If you are doing flatter surfaces. This will be a great product. If you are going to be rounded edges you might have problems. I'm sure vinyl primer would help with the adhesion.

Love how it turned out!
Not just for cars! I used this to wrap some speakers i built. They turned out awesome. This sticks to MDF perfectly. The L/R speakers were done with this product over a year ago. I had to buy another to have enough to do the center channel speaker which i just finished building. I love the way these look. Way better than if i would painted them. I cant speak to how well it works on anything else but know it works good on plastic and MDF!

Top Quality For The Price
The quality is top notch for the price. I got it to use as a cover over my old computer desk that I had mounted floating against a wall. The table top measures 46" x 23" so I had enough material. Preparation: You will need scissors, a good plastic squeegee or credit card, heat gun or hair dryer, and lots of patience. Also make sure the surface you are going to put this one is REALLY clean and free of anything that would come off if you need to lift the vinyl up to re-adjust Making The Cut: Taking the vinyl wrap out of the cylindrical container was easy enough but trying to lay it flat so i could cut it was a hassle as it still wanted to retain it's wound up shape - there are cut guides on the back and I would suggest measuring where you want to cut then using sharp scissors to cut along the guide lines (make sure to give about 1 extra inch to where you need to cut instead on trying to make it an exact length, my first cut was a couple cm short so I had to cut another one. Application: After making your cut I would roll the material in the opposite direction and hold it for a while to negate it trying to keep its packaged wound up shape. If you can get someone to help lay it down do so because applying it by your self can be troublesome. If doing this by your self, I suggest you remove about a couple inches of the backing and apply the vinyl to one edge of your surface. Then with one hand pull on the remaining vinyl to create some tension and remove the rest of the backing with the other hand and lay it down. Granted this works best for flat surfaces, but it will save you time and the hassle of dealing with the backing while trying to apply it to your surface. I initially started by removing a bit of the backing and laying it down to remove any air bubbles, but this was taking way to long and the backing got in the way when I tried to get rid of air bubbles. Removing air bubbles with a credit card was easy and lifting the vinyl up to re adjust was also easy. If you have creases in the material apply hot air to the surface to make it expand and then flatten it. The one thing that made the whole application a bit troublesome was the particle table top board I was working with already had some thin vinyl wood applied to it and when I tried to re-adjust the carbon vinyl it would pull up little strips. It only affected the adhesive a little but if I had time I would have sanded the entire board to make it really clean. I wrapped the vinyl over the sides of the table and used table to secure the edges underneath. You could staple the edges if you have a good stapler but I don't so I just used tape. Final Thoughts: I am really pleased with how it turned out and the quality of the material. I stretched the heck out of it and it did not rip plus it has a subtle amount of texture so its not really smooth, which works for me as a desk top. I am sure some of the negative reviews on here either got knock-offs or poorly stored materials. The adhesive is good enough that you could life it up a couple of times and it still be effective.I highly recommend this if you are going to use it the way I did. I plan to use the extra in my care interior once I have the time.

exactly what I needed. comes with a lot of wrap for a good price
great price point. I don't think I would put this on an expensive car because in my opinion was very hard to move and stretch it. But what do I know? maybe I was doing it wrong. for what I needed it for It worked perfectly! P.S. the price was too good to turn down. I only needed a little piece. If this is the case you will end up with a LOT extra and you WILL put it on everything. enjoy :)

Worked great for covering a desk
This product is fantastic. I had a black wooden desk that had gouges and scratches all over it. It was already pre-treated wood so I couldn't paint over it without a lot of sanding. I bought this in hopes of covering it nicely without painting...worked perfectly!!! The bubbles come out severely easy (with a little heat and work). The desk now looks brand new with an awesome carbon-fiber design.
