Conveniently sized
Haven't used it yet but they are convenient, small package so does not fill up the medical bags. I think thy will work. I purchased these to fill medical bags for our Law Enforcement Officers.

I haven't had to use this (thankfully) but it brings a lot of peace of mind to have it on hand on case of emergency (especially as I am a klutz!). It fits easily in any first aid kit, and is ideal for camping and vacations. It is a decent price when on sale. 5/5

I got the Survivex Hemostatic Gauze for my son who owns an arborist (tree care) company. He has two crews of employees working with potentially dangerous equipment like chainsaws and chippers. The gauze is packaged in 5 separate sealed bags so he has put a couple in each of his safety kits. So far he has not opened nor used this product which is ideally the way things will stay.

Quick delivery. Smaller than I thought so packed down super well.

Simply calling it gauze makes it sound simple, and as a wrap, it of course i,s but what it provides is not as simple as placing some normal gauze on a wound and applying pressure. With something like this, it's always wise to do some research to understand when something like this needs to be pulled out of a first aid kit and not just normal gauze. At this price, one does not want to waste its capabilities to save a lot of grief for a mere booboo. 🚩 A product like this does have an expiry date, unlike standard gauze. The date showing on mine is 02/2028, which means I have a couple of years before I need to replace them. One thing that isn't in the description is that the gauze is treated with hemostatic agents that are a granular powder on the exterior or embedded in a dressing such as gauze and sponge. The description states that it is 3 inches wide by four feet long. I've not pulled one out of its pouch as I do not want to waste any, but with past training, using gauze that offers this length can be a real advantage. It can be folded over as needed to cover the length of a wound, or because of its length, it can be wrapped around a limb as needed. ► The pouches are made easy to open. There are tear strips at the top, so no tools need to be used to extract them. I like the nice slim pouches; they fit easily into a variety of first aid kits. We've added two of these to the first aid bag in each of our vehicles, and the fifth is in the home first aid kit. Because the pouches are so slim, they easily fit, which meant that nothing had to get squished in order to accommodate their addition to the kits. We've also ordered two more (there are two options for buying these here on Amazon), and one went into each of our BoBs. While this will be a real blessing in the event of a serious wound, just having it in an emergency bag doesn't mean that it will do what's needed. People need to take the time and get first aid certified so they have an understanding of how to treat/attack various injuries instead of scratching their heads, wondering what needs to be done next.
