Simply amazing
This eagle is beautiful! It's huge, too - bigger than my fist. The detail, especially on the feathers, is superb. This is perfect for toy model collectors, animal lovers, or as a patriotic symbol. The model is made from a quality heavy rubber-like material - firm but a bit flexible. The beak and talons are sharp, so I wouldn't recommend giving it to a small child. The paint is nice, though there are some bits where the color goes out of its boundaries. The wings have two-tone detailing, but the rest is flat color. The eyes on my model are looking in different directions, which is a bit odd, but it's mostly viewed from the side, so it's not a big deal. Overall, one of my favorite models.

Really nice quality! My kid collects these types of figurines, but never this brand. Bought this as a stocking stuffer and I was impressed.

Loving this Eagle
The Eagle is a good size. Wings are a bit flexible making them easy to pose. I love these larger safari figurines because they are easy for little hands to play with. I wish there were more large items to choose from.

Majestic-looking
As with all of the Schleich products, this bald eagle is very impressive and sturdy. I have never seen such good craftsmanship in a "toy" animal. The paint and features are very life-like. I meant to order the nest of chicks along with this one, but forgot so will do so soon.
