Nice caps, but did not work for my 10x42 Bushnell Legend Binoculars
These seem like a great value, but the Diamondback 42mm were too small for my Bushnell Legend 10x42 binoculars.I instead bought the Vortex Crossfire 42mm caps and they fit my Bushnell Legend 10x42 very well.

Protects my optics.
Somewhere in the mountains of Colorado (or some dark corner of someones pickup) are the original covers from my binoculars. These fit nicely and worked great over the latest hunting season. They are worth the money.

Does not fit Zeiss Terra ED 8x42
Bought "Vortex Optics Diamondback Binocular Caps 42mm" They are way too small for Zeiss 8x42. They barely cover the lenses, much less fit over the tube. I was replacing Vortex Optics 42 mm caps that I had bought for my Zeiss years ago. These apparently aren't them. Returned.

They're OK
The price was decent. The description said this fits Vortex 42mm binoculars. I have a set of Vortex Diamondback 8x42 binoculars. These do not fit as well as the originals. The seemed pretty tight and I had to really force them on. If you need a replacement, t(en use these. If you can, don’t lose your originals. I got lucky and found my originals, so I put the originals back on and removed these.

Better than original
My spouse is a birder with a pair of Cabela's 9X42 binoculars. Last weekend we noticed one of them hd broken and the cap was missing. I had an online chat with Cabela's...you know, big, famous chain...and they told me that Cabela's "doesn't make replacements for them, they are, after all, made in China and I should "Google it" to find a replacement cap"...for binos less than 12 months old. Mind you, the binos are very good but Cabela's ability to stand behind their products is not very good.Nice.I came here and found these and I can attest that they are vastly superior to the original eye cups that came on the binos. They are made of a stiffer rubber and a give a snug fit but the cups pop off just fine and re-seat easily. A great item at a great price that came the day after ordering. What's not to like?

If you have an older set of Diamondback binoculars do not buy
If you bought your Diamondback binos in 2016 or earlier, do not buy. These do not fit. Contact Votex tech support and they will give them to you free under warranty.
