Ok for an Airsoft vest but not good as an actual plate carrier.
I am 188 pounds and 5'9" and the vest fits fine for a vest of this style. The workmanship seems adequate but there are some flaws in design. There is absolutely no padding anywhere on this vest. Which is fine as long as you do not plan on using actual plates in the plate pockets. If you are a airsoft person and don't plan on putting plates in the vest this is a good option for you but if you are like me and plan on using plates you may want to look into different options. If manufacturer adds padding to the vest this could be a really good product.PROs.PriceDecent materials and workmanshipComes with foam pads for Airsoft useCons. No padding built to shoulders or in between you and plates.I will update after a couple of months use!!

This vest broke after 8 months of 3 day per week use.
I purchased this vest in January of 2019 it broke August of 2019. I loaded two (2) ten pound 8x10 dipped training plates. I ran with it three (3) to four (4) times a week. The pictures show the break on the right shoulder and the deformation on the left shoulder.

Needs trauma pads
It works fantastically with steel plates when you have the trauma pads. The kevlar padding makes up for the lack of built in padding and the inserts are cheap. By the way, even with a good vest, with steel plates, you're gonna want trauma pads, unless you wanna get rung like a gong
