(50 sets) Beer Tap Handle Standard Ferrule and Hanger Bolt Set

Purchased the five piece set and got five ferrels. However, I received only four of the screws that hold the ferrels in place. The chrome on the ferrels is very nice and each was packaged separately to prevent scratching. A little more care in packaging the screws and this would have been a 5 star rating.

My latest hobby is making tap handles out of random stuff like Vault Boy & Boba Fett figurines and spent shell casings from 30mm gatling guns. These little doodads are just what you need to convert your odds and ends into creative tap handles. Easy peasy egg and cheesy:1. Just drill a hole through or into whatever your handle will be.2. If it's wood, use the screw/bolt hybrid that comes with the product. Screw the screw into the hole, then screw the mounting cap on to the bolt end.3. If it's plastic or metal, you'll want to drill all the way through whatever it is and then use a standard bolt (you'll need to buy your own, but hey you needed to get out of the house anyway) to secure the mounting cap. If you don't like the bolt head showing, you can cover it with matching sugru (mankind's greatest invention).4. Screw the tap handle on to the tap head on your kegerator.5. Have a beer, you've earned it!

I make tap handles for various breweries. These are the best I've found as far as quality and ease of use. They may not be the least expensive, but well worth the cost.

The Hanger Bolts I received with my last order were not 5/16"-18 X 1 1/2" They were closer to a full 2" making them useless for this application. They mention in their product description the the use the harder to find 5/16"-18 X 1 1/2" for easier installation. I have ordered these many times and have been very pleased with the quality. I couldn't find a way to contact them direct to resolve this issue. Maybe some one will get back to me.

Love these! They are very easy to use. My friend just made a kegerator for his bar and needed some tap handles. I have a few whittling projects hanging about the house I thought would make great tap handles, so I ordered these. All you do is drill a hole in what ever you want to make into a tap handle. Drill the hole slightly smaller than the shank, then screw the shank in, you can then hand tighten the ferrule. Custom tap handles! Every home bar needs them.
