Yes u have a pretty thick case on my galaxy. And many people have used it there was someone with an iPhone that had an otter box with metal in it. That was the only time it did not charge a phone

Q: I am using this charger samsung s10e. when my phone is placed on the unit it does not charge & actually loses some power. light is blue. whats up?

Charger source may be insufficient to drive the charger plus the phone charge current. 5 volt at 2.0 amp or 9 volts at 1.67 amp is the designed input for the model DG100. If source is proper check for a bad cable making poor connection. I have had both issues. Carry a 5v 2amp source with me when I travel. Often the motel sources give those symptoms. Blue light but no umpire.
