what with the price of this item u have to buy another lead 2 make it work properly which makes it 2 expensive for what it is at £130 +

I was looking for a camera without a screen as I find it a distraction, so that slims the choices down somewhat. The camera is perfect, really easy to install, took me 15 mins to hide all the cables. I purchased an obd power connector from another seller for £8 and works well without hardwiring into the fuse box or constantly in the cigarette lighter.Picture quality during the daytime is not as good as a GoPro on 1080p but more than good enough to read registrations clearly and see faces etc. Ultimately for me, it's for safety not for making movies.The app I found very fiddly at first to connect. My top tip when connecting via WiFi also disable your mobile data, doesn't mention that in the manual but connects instantly when you do.Overall very happy with this camera, sits nicely behind the rear view mirror and has a small flashing green led to let you know it's recording. Highly recommend if you're looking for something minimal/discreet in your car.

Bought in February 2020 and now wifi function doesn't work.Can't even contact customer service.

Very good product, easy to setup and uses.

This little dash cam has been installed in front of the rearview mirror. Very clear pictures and videos. I like the cute button a lot. It is a remote controller and needs to be paired with the dash cam first. When there is beautiful scenery on the road I just need to press the button to take a 5 seconds’ video, which can be downloaded from the connected APP later. I have to admit that this dash cam works good for me. I have already recommended it to my colleagues.

The Halocam APP for iphone is appaling and difficult to use. Tasks that should be simple require you to "wrestle" with the app and find a way to trick it into doing what you need. The camera itself is good quality but the APP lets this product down and makes it such an effort and is the reason why i returned my Camera.If you want to download a video into youre Camera Roll you first have to get it downloaded from the device to youre phone library (not camera roll). Then while it portrait mode you view the video you want to download to camera roll and spend a long time wondering just the hell how you do it. After much guess work i worked out you have to view the video in landscape mode, tap the screen while its playing (it has to be playing) and then the download button appears and you have to tap it quick before the video finishes or it dissapears again. The buttons are all invisible in portraight mode and only this trickery of pay - turn landscape - tap screen - hit button quick...will get you youre video in youre camera roll.... This is just one of a few annoyances with this APP. There is an editing tool to trim videos and add music which works well BUT all you can do with that edited little video is upload it to there own stupid social news feed, you cant do anything else with the edited video. Basic controls like having the choice to choose microphone on or off or video resolution do not exist, you cannot change these.. always 1080P MIC on.Very dissapointed in the lack of basic options and awful quality APP - I do not reccommend.

First impression, very stylish and unique. Setting it up in the car was very easy and Hassle-free. I love that it's small and discrete (out of the way when in use), also comes with a convenient remote control. Tha images and videos is clear and works well, so in an event off an accident off any kind it would be very useful. Over all, easy to set up, easy to use and I would highly recommend to friends and family. Every car should have one!
