Goldage5-Pairs Fiberglass Dishwasher-Safe Chopsticks (Long Version Sunset Glow - Gold)

I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend. He hates using metal forks or spoons when eating (Americanized) Chinese/Japanese cuisine/take out. He says it makes the food taste different and he feels chopsticks helps bring out the real flavor of the food so I thought getting these for him on our 2nd year together would make him super happy, and it did. To me it all tastes the same whether chopsticks or not.I gave my own personal rating for these since I will use them time to time as well. He is way better at using chop sticks then I am. For me these chopsticks are fairly heavy on the end that has the gold plating. Depending on what I am eating them with may prove to be harder to use them with. If i am eating hunan chicken/steak or anything with large pieces like sesame chicken I do fine. But if I try to eat low mein noodles, forget it. They slide and slip out of the grip no matter how I try to do it.My boyfriend I know would give it 5 stars. Easy to hold: 4 stars and easy to use:4 stars. He doesnt wash them, but they are easy to clean so 5 stars there. He loves any gold color since his favorite color is yellow and the box it came in is very nice looking.I would recommend this company for friends looking to purchase chopsticks to spruce up their utensils in their kitchen. I looked through all of them closely and through the reviews. They are all very beautiful.

As expected

These are the best chopsticks I have ever used. They look decent, and like new after one year dishwasher wash. Now the other chopsticks that I bought at the same time have worn out, so I come back to order more. Highly recommended!

Good quality, though a little bit heavy when held in hand. And a little pricey. I like that it has the anti-slippery tip, so I can hold onto things like noodles better

If you need statement chopsticks for some reason, by all means, these are the ones! they're gorgeous! they can be dishwashed! they seem to be good quality like they will last long, but they're just too heavy and difficult to use. I'm not that small, but I'm petite and have a lifetime's worth of experience using chopsticks, so I know it's not me!!! ok, it's me. I literally can't with them. but A+++ for good looks.

These chopsticks are made from fiberglass-reinforced plastic (possibly melamine) and are meant for multiple use. The problem is that the ornamental gold band on the handle is a glued-on plastic foil, not printed or painted directly on the chopsticks. In most of these chopsticks, the foil is not glued well (possibly some kind of adhesive tape?) and I can see and feel with my fingers that it is slightly lifted off, which makes durability questionable, especially if machine-washed in hot water.I am trying to hand-wash these chopsticks and so far they hold out, but if the golden foil starts coming off, there is nothing left to distinguish these chopsticks from cheap plastic ones.

Love them. Looks good, very sturdy. Grab food easy because of the different texture at the eating end. A bit longer than expected but it does not affect anything.

This is too big for most people, it will be perfect if it is smaller. And the over all quality is just soso
