Pete & Pedro sea salt spray has quickly become one of my favorite hair products. It’s a great pre-styler that gives my hair a lot of volume, texture, and separation without feeling sticky or heavy. I spray about 5 to 8 pumps into damp hair before blow drying, and it gives a clean, natural look with light hold and fullness. I started with the 2 oz travel size just to test it out, and I’m really impressed with how it performs. It makes styling easier and helps my hair keep its shape all day. I’ll definitely be purchasing the full-size bottle for everyday use.

Straight to wavy /curly hair although I do use a diffuser which you should use instead of just a blow dryer. Pairs great with based texture powder. And people complain about smell but I think it smells great!

When first using, I planned to make a negative review.. Even as my hair was still wet but towel dried, I wasn’t happy with the texture of my hair. The shampoo and conditioner feel like snot, and the smell, in case you’re interested, is exactly the same as the smell of a tin of altoid treatments. Once my hair dried, though, it had volume like it has t had in years and had a great texture. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is the price. A travel-sized think of shampoo is 4 oz., and that’s the most of a gel or liquid you can take on a flight. These are only twice the weight of those, and if you buy the hair spray, shampoo, and conditioner, you’re back $55. They can do better on the price for sure.

The bottle sprays in a nice, even layer with good coverage. The spray has a light and pleasant scent, and it does provide you with that salty hair feel. The texture it adds is felt instantly. I'll have to mess around with it a bit more to see how I can use it with my hair, but it does what it says it does.

The scent out of spray is not what I would prefer. Compared to other products I've used (European, not available in the US), I'd describe this scent as artificial and cheap. But that's my particular opinion. On the other hand, the hold is exactly what I like from salt spays: the shape stays and if I disturb the look during the day, it's easy to use my hand to get it back into a good look. I have fine, thinning hair and salt sprays give me a light hold, thickens the appearance, and allows for a natural shaping. No sticky hold or shine
