Form really follows function for this new packaging of what was already my favorite skincare product… these small but mighty and gentle deodorant/anti-odor pads work so wonderfully and make me feel so clean throughout the day… And now that they come in this lovely multi use jar that is so attractive I can leave it out on the counter, my husband has started using them, as well! And he never uses any of my products, so this is really a BIG deal! Thank you Surface Deep for really upping the ante on these little guys ⚪️🤍⚪️

These Surface Deep Anti-Odorant Pads do seem to help keep body odor at bay.-There is a scent to these pads, which is somewhat strong. It's all the extracts (Rosemary, Eucalyptus), etc I'm pretty sure. I can still smell it on my pits even after the liquid dried. So if you don't want ANY scent, then these may not work for you.-Decent sized pads (see photo 2 for size between my fingers).-Very wet pads, so you won't have to worry about them drying out any time soon. I use mine to clean the bathroom afterwards since it's a disposable pad with plenty of wetness to it.-I wish the ingredients were a bit more natural, but according to EWG, Salicylic Acid was the least healthy ingredient, and lots of skin products have Salicylic acid in them. All the rest of the ingredients were deemed healthy by EWG.-I did not notice any skin irritation or negative effects from uuse of these pads.-Container was sealed well. You get 50 pads, which makes the value not seem so great at the current price of $29 for the 50 pads. But that will be personal preference.

The pads are made with plant-based fibers, and are biodegradable.On opening the container, I was struck by the strong smell of eucalyptus, so I was surprised to find that eucalyptus wasn’t further up in the ingredients list. I worried about perhaps not wanting to smell like eucalyptus, but I needn’t have worried. Once the wipes have been used, I found there was no lingering fragrance on my skin. The pads haven’t caused any skin irritation, so I think they’re fine for sensitive skin, and they really do help to keep me feeling fresh.I’m looking forward to using these later in the summer, when I plan to use them not only for underarms, but on any area that might develop odors from sweating. The pads aren’t designed to be antiperspirant pads, so they won’t stop sweating, but they don’t contain aluminum, which is a definite plus. In my experience, they just stop the smell; not by hiding it with fragrance, though. The odor just isn’t there. They haven’t caused any staining on clothes, and are very easy to use.At the current price of $29, they’re not cheap, but I think they’re going to be very useful in the hotter part of the year, and I appreciate this American company’s dedication to using skin-friendly ingredients. If you ever worry about underarm (or anywhere else) odor, these are definitely worth a try!

Full disclosure, I'm someone who doesn't need a heavy duty deodorant and don't even need to use it every day. I liked the idea of combining glycolic acid to help with lightening and exfoliation, which can be a concern especially in the folds of your skin where you also need odor protection. It doesn't come with the little set of plastic tweezers anchored to the lid that many presoaked pads come with these days, but that's okay. When I opened the container, it almost smells like tea tree oil and I was sure that it was an ingredient, but after double and triple checking the ingredient list it doesn't look like there is any tree oil. I do wish these pads were a little bit larger. These pads were small and kept folding up on itself and was a little difficult to deal with. However, I felt clean after application and they don't leave any scent behind, but most importantly no offending scent behind. I will have to do more research, but it was my understanding that glycolic acid shouldn't be used daily, so I'm unsure if these are good for daily use.

I'll admit - I'm a sweaty lady. I'm also a crunchy, eco-minded lady and don't like products with a lot of artificial ingredients. I like to stay away from aluminum deos, too, but need them on occasion. I have tried probably two dozen "natural" deos over the last ten years and have found only one or two that *kind of* worked for me. They all required reapplication during the day. With that being said, you can understand my hesitancy about wipes that claim to keep the stink away.Well, my mind was blown. I used these in the morning (one wipe only - just flip it over for the other pit) and gardened for FOUR hours. That's four hours of moving, sweating, and producing stink. Except...I didn't. After four hours I was stink-free, thanks to these wipes. I couldn't believe it. I've never had a natural deo work this well.These are a bit pricey, but the effectiveness is unmatched. I like the smell of them, too. It's very essential oil-like (tea tree maybe?). They don't leave any marks on your clothes and dry quickly. Even with the higher price, I could totally see myself getting these again because of how amazing they are.
