Q: Is the French Roast bad for your coffee grinders? I love the flavor so much better than the espresso blend?

Baaad, Baad, Bad to the Bone! Seriously, nope not an issue! Whether or not a coffee bean is more or less roasted matter naught to your grinder - no matter what kind. I love the flavor too though i[v found that a mix of about 3 cups columbian 'normal' roast to one cup or mayby 1.5 cups of dark roast suits me best. You should really try mixing and matching various roasts, looking for that 'sweet spot'. too remember that how long-fine you grind the little guys makes a definite taste difference -- note that the finer your grind the stronger the taste (expresso is a very find powder). Mix and match beans, try different grinds but ALWAYS use good water - tap, with all its chemicals almost always makes good coffee less good!
