Dr. Harvey's Golden Years Geriatric Herbal Supplement for Senior Dogs, 7 Oz

Great product! I began feeding my 16 yr old BC Dr. Harvey's Raw Vibrance base food approximately 2 years ago mixed with raw meat. Almost instantly there was a huge shift in her overall health. Shortly after introducing her to the base food I purchased the Golden Years Supplement. Have not looked back. Highly recommend.

Product is great for my 11 year old dog. He started walking and running more almost immediately. Fast delivery by seller too.

I have waited several weeks to post this review because I wanted to be sure the changes I noticed in my dog were lasting. The results I saw in my Ten-year-old Cocker Spaniel were simply amazing to me. During the past six months she had gotten markedly less active, often disinterested, and had given up playing and jumping. She gets six-month vet visits with labs and apparently healthy but “getting older”. This downward change was breaking my heart. I already had been giving her glucosamine and EFAs for some time. I ordered this powder because the reviews were so positive but honestly did not have very high expectations. The best I hoped for was to see a little more energy after many weeks of use, if then. I am not exaggerating when I share that after only two or three days, she was back to her younger self again. Her eyes were bright, she was following me non-stop, playing, jumping up on the furniture again and very happy. I am more than happy and will not be running out of this product. I adore all dogs and hope this review helps others decide to give it a try. If your dog shows only half the improvement that mine did, I am sure you will be very happy as well. Update: Over two months use and I am still extremely happy with the results. I have received independent verification of my assessment of her improvements that I want to share. During her last visit to the groomer, an apprentice signed her in. He was new and hadn’t seen her before. As he was going over questions about her medical history he said “I can see she is not over 7 years old” and was moving on to another question (there is a waiver to sign for older dogs). I stopped him and told him she was 10 years old. He couldn’t believe it. When her usual groomer finished with her cut and brought her out to me, she asked me what I had been giving her. She told me she looked and acted like a completely different dog. She said if she didn’t know better, she would think my dog was only 4 or five years old. I also want to share that I only give her half the dose recommended for her weight. She loves the taste and takes her food much better than without the supplement but with the recommended two scoops she doesn’t eat it as well. Maybe the taste is too strong with this amount. I couldn’t imagine having more improvement than I already see at the half dose so this may be something to keep in mind if you find your dog doesn’t like the taste. Second Update I just wanted to share that it has been almost two years since I first wrote the above review and my girl is now 12 years old. She is still active and healthy and gets the Golden Years every day. I wish I could capture a video of her when she spies a squirrel and takes off on a chase but I’m too busy chasing her to get one. Her speed is amazing even now. My wish for everyone who reads this is that you see your beloved pets having the same level of health and quality of life as my girl is experiencing in her senior years. Best wishes to all.

I have no scientific evidence but I started giving this to my 10 year old labradoodle and he seems to have a lot more energy and also likes it added with his food. I use half the recommended amount and it's working out fine.

Our 13 year old Golden just went for her annual yesterday. She has been on this supplement for about 2 years now. she loves it but I hadn't thought of writing a review. We have always had rescue mutts who generally lived to be 15-17 so I was shocked when he said how Goldens tend to only live 10-12 years and that our 13 year old girl had great teeth, muscle tone, her weight and blood work was outstanding. He said "whatever you are doing keep doing it!" I had no idea she was "old" for a Golden (she was also a rescue and in such rough shape when we got her that even the vet wasn't sure what she was). Our dog loves the taste of this too. We sprinkle it on her food and she thinks it's a treat. I think it has contributed to her overall health and glowing senior vet visit. Thank you!
