Kalanchoe Fedtschenkoi F Compacta, Exotic Rare Succulent Plant Cactus 2" Pot

The plant arrived with plenty of small brown spots and dents which makes me believe it had a newly bug infestation recently (or another plant-eating insect) although I didn’t spot any bugs on the plant yet. There is a whitish film on some leaves that look like possible insecticide and is distinctly different from the kalanchoe’s natural “powder finish”. If the plant didn’t get assaulted by bugs, then it is sick so I’m actually hoping for mealy bugs since I already own the insect soap. I have to quarantine this plant for a while from all my healthy plants, which is a huge bummer since I wanted to use t in a specific arrangement (although it doesn’t really match the picture anyway). Some of the spots in the photos are the natural reddish tint, but so many of them are blatant dents and scars on the plant that will only heal when those leaves finally die off completely.Many of the leaves are yellowing and physically wilting, which typically takes a little while to happen (it wouldn’t happen just during shipping). The plant is etiolating (the stem is growing more than it should, versus producing more leaves) which happens from lack of sunlight. It also has grown quite crooked, which typically means a plant has been in insufficient and indirect lighting.I think the plant will be salvageable with insecticidal soap, proper lighting, and better soil and care in general. But, I have bought many plants online and this is the very first I will have to nurse back to health. Very disappointed, especially since I was looking forward to adding this to my collection now.

I purchased this kalanchoe because, well, I’mA huge fan of kalanchoe. I’ve never bought a plant online before this one. For it being my first time, I am VERY impressed! I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT thank the seller enough for this! It was very professionally packaged. Nothing was damaged. It came to me in a cute little box, with the roots bound and wrapped in paper towel, with a rubber holding it closed. Then the whole plant was lightly wrapped in newspaper! When I got it, it looked almost identical to the pictures shown in the description. I am very happy about this purchase and give it a 5star review!!!

It comes in wrapped in a paper towel with some dirt but its alive and has decent roots .

You only get a start. I thought I was buying one this size. Came in good condition and care. I just thought I was purchasing one the size in the picture

I liked the Kalanchoe in the photo because the leaves are growing up with red on the edges, but I found the leaves open up perpendicular to the stem, I still like the plan and I am happy with the purchase.

Very small plant receive less than 2 inches tall

Product arrived completely wrapped in newspaper and roots in dry paper towel. There were three leaves total and no longer attached to plant. Stem looks ok, so I'll plant it in well draining soil and wait to see if it survives. Doesn't look that promising.

I love this succulent looks delicate but the leaves are thick and juicy with a thin line of white and pink.
