Wow this thing works well. I can't tell you how many cakes we have moved around the countryside using this cake carrier. It even is good for that extra cake that just happens to show up at the barn by surprise. We have taken cakes in cars, truck, airplanes, and the little cake carrier has come through each time, assuring whole, undamaged delivery of the tasty treat inside.The bottom is plenty firm and rigid, the top snaps tight to it and is strong enough to have other food items placed on top of it, and the handles lie flat in the top when down and make it so easy to carry a normally cumbersome and unweildly item which is a cake!I will be using this little OvenStuff item for all my future cake carrying needs!

I already had one that i loved and my friend was amazed at how moist it kept the cake in it so I bought one for her. It is lite and easy to maneuver, not bulky like a lot of cake carriers and really seals the cake or whatever you want to put in it.

Both times I've purchased this item, the latches securing lid to pan have broken on first use.

I don't really like pink but it is a good quality product.

As other reviewers have indicated, the tabs that hold the top to the pan break. It's the weakest link in the chain and its very weak. My first one broke within one week of purchase, but with three locking tabs it was still "functional." Now that the second one broke however, it's useless as designed. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because I think I can use the no-stick pan to bake pizzas with.

I needed a cake carrier that would fit in my fridge and not take up too much space. This is perfect! It holds a bundt cake or similar size cake. The handles are flat on the top and the clasps on the side keep the cake fresh.

I love this set because it came with the metal base; however, the height of the cover doesn't allow for a well decorated cake. If you don't put a lot of dimensional decorations on the top of the cake you would be okay. Decent quality and durable.

I have several of these and use them to transport cheesecakes. They are very secure and solidly made. The tabs on a few of my much older ones actually broke (mostly because I pulled on them right after taking it out of the freezer), but the tabs are still usable even when no longer completely attached to the lid. Absolutely the best carriers I've purchased.
