Build Quality – The metal casing and finish has a nice, well made, solid feel; the buttons / switches seem sturdy, have a good click and should hold up well; time will tell how the finish holds up though. The Main light – this was surprisingly bright at full strength, with a good mix between throw and flood, the multiple brightness levels is a great bonus as well. BTW, while it does eventually get hot at the end on max brightness, It never smoked as another reviewer has shown in a video, I wonder if that person maybe left the peel off plastic protection film on the lens… The Green laser – I was expecting this to be more of a weak laser pointer, but was quite impressed with its strength, I could clearly see it across my 2.5 acre yard in the dark of course, not quite matching my dedicated green laser, but close and a fun addition no less. The RGB side lights – while I did see comments mentioning these be gimmicky, I did find them very useful this past week when needing to take some pictures for my daughters sculptures she wants to sell on Etsy, adding some quick background color to the pictures greatly enhanced the looks. The white flood mode probably the most useful, which I recently used working on a computer, with the flashlights compact size, I could set it right inside the computer case to brightly light up the tiny motherboard connectors I needed to get to, all of the color modes are all fun to play around with and also a nice addition. The USB C charging port with button light for charge status is great! The solid and sturdy USB C connectors are much better than the old flimsy micro USB type. Overall, a high quality multipurpose flashlight that should hold up well over the years, it’s been fun to use and so far very useful, I will defiantly be looking into the other flashlights this company produces.

As a flashlight fan I purchased this on a whim. WOW, I am blown away. Cycling through the basic front flashlight is great but the turbo level is over the top. The side light, seemingly an afterthought is a huge bonus. On the highest setting it is really bright filling a room with light. Also, the red/blue flasher is perfect for emergency situations. I've purchased two and will be picking up a few more.

I rarely write reviews but after playing with this for a few hours I decided I want to encourage companies like Wurkkos to keep making inventive lights like this. The main light is plenty bright for everyday use. The side floodlight is great in combination with the strong tailcap magnet if you need to go hands free. The laser pointer is cool a feature that I hadn't thought I would need in a flashlight but I quickly realized that you don't really think about how often you need to point to things and the laser makes it clear what your are pointing at. The side RGBs are kinda gimmicky (when would I want to use police flashing lights?) but I did find that I could change them to any particular static RGB color so I set it in on as close to true red as I could get which I think might be useful if I need to get up at night and don't want to destroy my night vision. Maybe a future version could let you click though the different colors instead of ramping through them, so that it's easier to lock into a particular color?) Only a few quibbles. I agree with a few other reviews I've read that buttons would be better reversed so that the top is spotlight and the bottom is laser/flood/rgb. Also in the instructions is mentions that "the power indicator on the side switch shows the power status for 5 seconds after turning HD01 on". This didn't seem to be the case, but the lights around the switches do change from red to green as you charge. Someone also mentioned lacking UV. I do think that would be an amazing addition but also agree it would add to the cost. Overall a great light that I expect will quickly become my EDC. Oh and amazing job to Amazon getting it to me by Sunday morning when I ordered Saturday night.

Similar to Sofirn IF23 and IF 24 and Olight Arkfeld OK, so lets start with what I dislike about it. The flaw with all of these multi function lights is the UI. The UI for this is very similar to the IF23. If you have used an IF23, you'd know how much of a PITA that UI is. "do I click 2 for the side or 3 for the side light?" Click-Click-BLIND! Similarly this light suffers the same issue. Top botton requires a series of clicks to select which light you want, laser, white side, RGB side. What the IF24 and Arkfeld did right is have a selector switch that you simply cannot screw up. If this light had the selector switch it would be a world of difference better. -1/2star My next issue is the options for the side light, you have your standard whites, which are great honestly but where I take issue is that the RGB is the EXACT same as the IF24 which includes a "POLICE MODE" Who thought that was a good idea needs their head examined. I need a flashing any other color than Red AND BLUE. This has ben an issue with a number of my RGB Wurkkos lights. -1 star Lastly the battery, it is a non standard, non-removeable battery. Though it lasts a white, which is great. I want removable batteries. -1star Now the good. I love love love these dual function RGB lights. Every one I've seen so far I've bought. Where they're all coming up short though is their form factor. While I love this formfactor (even though I was sure I was going to hate it) They need to sell one that has an hex or octagon shaped body so that I can adjust the angle of attack for the side light. This one is flat so the only real option for deployment is on it's tail - which limits it's functionality a lot. I love the laser, it's VERY BRIGHT and GREEN! Front light has a very nice hot spot. but not too hot to limit is functionality. The side light is very floody, though it could be more floody. RGBs are OK, but not a lot of function to them. I can select colors and do some patterns but limited on strobe and usefulness. Overall, I would recommend this light. If I were to improve this light. The first thing I would do is make it hexagon. Next change the Side light modes to include rapid flashing whatever color you choose. Next, an 18650 option, and a dual direction clip. lastly, different body colors. Typically if I'm looking for a flash light, it's dark. So why do I want a black body? - I don't. I like colors. Cerakote is all the rage these days. Lets get some of those going.

My husband seems to be collecting flashlights over the last few years (dozens). I don’t really understand the draw, but he’s really happy with this new toy of his. It seems to have many features unique to this flashlight. He must’ve said “Look!” about 10 times last night, as he was reading about how to use it in all the different ways. It seems to be quality built and is a little lighter than most of his others. There was definitely a learning curve, since this flashlight has so many functions and is so different from any of his other flashlights. But he never complained about the buttons, so they must work well. So far, so good. This would make a great gift for those hard-to-shop-for persons. It looks great, works great, has tons of features, and is both functional and fun.
