Q: I have measured my son's hand it measures 15cm using the sizing instructions. Would this qualify for an XS youth glove?

Correct, if you're going by the size chart. However, if you can afford it and have the time, get the next size up as well as the XS. try both, then return the wrong fitting size.

Q: Is there decent padding? One review said there was no palm padding

It has a thin padding, but it can’t be called a really padding.

Q: What size for a 13 y old

Unfortunately, one size for one 13yr old, will differ from another 13yr old. Were not all built the same. I would recommend measuring the hand and using the size chart.

Q: What is sizing like? In other gloves I wear L the palm is loose an M tight on finger tips. These are saying im a XS.

When I measured my hands looking at there guide I was between 2 sizes perfectly so I purchased the larger one the glove fit perfect but the fingertips were a touch longer than I would like and I wish I brought the smaller size ( I still might)
