Supco SM1027N Replacement Refrigerator Evaporator Fan Motor Replaces 4681JB1027N, 1579962, 4681JK1004A, 3523326

I did not know the model # of my LG fridge because the letters had worn off the label inside. My fridge began making a very loud noise that i ignored for maybe two months until it stopped working altogether. Freezer still worked fine. I watched a youtube video on this and found it could be the fan motor and or fan blades obstructed. Took the freezer apart to reveal the inside and sure enough there was ice obstructing the fan which broke off all fan blades and probably stressed the motor and broke. I installed this new motor and fan blade and my fridge is working fine. I saw some complaints about the connector not snapping in correctly, but in my case for the LG fridge it fit fine. Just pay attention to the old motor connector and see if the middle piece is a bit longer than the other two, or if they are all even. I see some other motors that have all three pieces of the connector are the same length, mine was not like that, so pay attention to the way your plastic connector piece looks. Also, the wires were long enough to connect. same length as the old ones

Refrigerator went out Saturday afternoon, freezer working fine. There is no way I'm getting anything before Wednesday...Great! What the heck, I need to order something. $150 here $130 there....oh oh here's one for $89. This is a little 13v .89 amp motor....need to check amazon again maybe I missed something. Sure enough, Supco is listing a different model # but they say it replaces my model #. Outstanding, but still, get it out Monday, it will still be Wednesday.....MONDAY 12:30pm my motor arrives. Fits perfectly and was $30. I Have no idea how it was done but THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

I brought my parents old refrigerator to my house for the garage. At some point during the transport it stopped working. It was two possibilities. This and the circuit board. Unfortunately it wasn’t this because it was the less expensive option. We replaced the circuit board (purchase on EBay because Amazon didn’t carry it). Both parts worked great and this was the cheapest I could find the fan motor online. If you need one, buy it here.

I was getting bad frost in my freezer on the ceiling and food. Most troubleshooting pointed to this part. This motor costs over one hundred dollars at some places. The most affordable one I saw before coming across this was around 60-70. Glad to have found.Only difference is the shorter wire length from the original model.

Perfect fit, easy installation.

Motor was same but cable on this part was foot shorter than one being replaced. We spliced and installed and it works. Took 8 days to get part so if you are in a bind, keep this in mind.

I have a freezer that stoped working and we lost some food. In troubleshooting the problem I discovered that the cold air distribution motor was not working. I researched and found this replacement. I installed it and the freezer works fine!

This product worked great until it didn’t and died after 11.5 months.
